I dont think Islamic extremists are terribly concerned with China or Russia (with the exception of the Chechen/Baltic area conflict that seems to never end), because neither of those nations seem to be particularly interested in what goes on in Isreal.

I believe this is more of a "Lets take America down a notch or two" type of display......and I think it sucks.

Russia has long standing conflicts with the middle east, oil, etc... they go back a lot longer than our conflicts with the middle east.

China is still one of those "abolish all religion" countries too... they are just kind of far away to care about the middle east. They will care a lot more in the next few years as their oil use is skyrocketing.
