BoyscoutsI was going to comment on that one too, but refrained from doing so...the electric lines would have been very low for a tent pole to hit it...kinda of a stupid thing if you ask me, specially if this was happening on a scout camp where hundreds of children happen to go thrughout the year... Joking about a accident involving death takes a real low life, once again richw has shown his true colors. And if I remember correctly, it's not the first time he's joked about someones death, even a fellow sportbiker!!! ![]() |

BoyscoutsDoesn't it power lines have to be a minimum height off the ground to be safe and exactly prevent that sort of things? Rest in peace...the families must be devastated (and their sons that were there when it happend... |

BoyscoutsIts so refreshing to know that the arbitrary line drawing is alive and well. George Carlin said it best When driving everyone in front of you is an asshole evryone who passes you is a maniac. So to all you self appointed guardians of correct behavior good day ![]() |

BoyscoutsIt's a shame that people are so uptight. It was a joke. That doesn't mean he wants people to die. If they are already dead, we may as well laugh at them. |

BoyscoutsThere is a picture of the area (AOL?) and those power lines look OBVIOUS. Not sure why a organization who tells the scouts never to set up their tent under power lines, would do it with the largest mess tent with alumnium poles under those wires.......... Tragic? Yes, but this was TOTALLY avoidable IMHO. -Suf Daddy |

Not really. They pack everyone in so there is enough space. A kid in my troop was there. His tent was not to far from where this all happened. There was also some kind of virus going around. They had some containment tents up, from what I heard. |
