possible sleeper cell.ok so I have this customer that I am at wits end. This prick is absolutely unreal with the shit he says to me. Quick bio, this fucknutt was born in Pakistan and apparently was raised in Israel army till his late teens when he ended up moving to the United States. He has even told me stories about killing children when he was a teenager!!!!!! CRAZY! He now works for a company in Ney York City as a VP Systems Engineer. (He's got Sleeper Cell written all over him) Even tho I know he's not. He has been the most inconsiderate customer I have ever dealt with in my life. That Indian Attitude to the lowest degree. There were times I would be on a conference call and he would just start cursing the person on the phone out because of a bad experience he once had. One call was with a Microsoft rep where he actually got the poor girl to cry and hang-up... I'm always holding my breath with him because of the business I was pulling in but it's come to a point where enough is enough. Somebody needs to put this prick in his place. He is always the first to bash an American and now it's time for us to bash him.... I would love to see him tagged as a Sleeper Cell and detained. Chances of it being true is possible given the facts. What should I do? I cant have this trace me back to work. Hmm… probably shouldn’t do anything in case he is a terrorist and would have me killed. what would you do? ![]() |

possible sleeper cell.Just a suggestion..... Probably not a good idea to discuss this on a public message board. I understand the frustration, but you may want to discuss with your manager, first and foremost. |

Regardless of his race, country of origin, etc.. as soon as someone swears or totally loses their professional demeanor on the phone you should be able to request a new representative from their company to take over. This should be in your customer service contracts, etc.. I have no idea what kind of product you are supporting or selling but if it's anything with any level of expense this is totally reasonable. We have to put up with a lot of sh*t cause our customers spend huge amounts of money but our managers have been very cool.. there is a line and as soon as someone crosses it the account managers at both ends are involved and that person is no longer allowed to contact us. Swearing on the phone or in email is generally considered over that line. |

I was involved peripherally with a similar incident in college where a rude Pak professor would just walk over everyone. One day one of the admin assistants had enough and went to town on him going up one side and down another not giving him one word in. When he turned for help everyone turned their back on him. THAT IS WHAT THOSE ASSHOLES UNDERSTAND. THAT IS THE ONLY WAY YOU WILL GET HIS RESPECT! Not only do you have to have the backbone to do it, you also have to have the managerial support behind you because he will try to pull the rug from under your feet. Tell him to knock it off right at the beginning when he starts getting out of line and escalate as necessary. I do phone support for a living ... my favorite tactic is putting them on "ignore" for as long as it takes for them to get the message that they need me ... not the other way around. Thank god that assholes like that are few and far in between with my work. Bullies are COWARDS ... nail him to a cross and spray him with pigs blood. /rant over edit *********** One last thing, always confront the behavior, never the person. If he is rude, call him out and tell him he is rude. If he interrupts, call him out and tell him to stop interrupting. If he attacks a person, call him out and tell him to ... Never call him a name ... attack the behavior. There is no way he can legally get back to you and there is no way your managers can use this against you. You have to have a cool head and nail him hard tit for tat. Remember ... focus only on the behavior! If he hangs up on you and tries to backdoor you by going though someone else, spread the word around and have your coworkers pass him right back to you and keep pushing back.
