N. Korea Nukes

I had the idea that maybe NK feels progressively more isolated as Red China becomes more westernized.

Previously they were absolutely sure that China would defend them like a province but they have to know that the USA and the EU are more important to China then they are.

So i put forth the idea it was more important what China does then anything "W" did in their race to get nukes.

Didn't think it was controversial unless its the

W component

JUst a thought I had re why the NK goes forward when all seem against them. That they can't assume that China will protect them.

It could become controversial pretty easily. I was just planning ahead, that's all.

THERE we go. Now it can begin:

I think they want to use the UN sanctions as "Declarations of War". Ill wants his people to think they are backed into a corner and have to use all measures necessary to defend themselves.

The entire country is military. Born, bred and raised that way. They are warmongers and are looking for anything as provacation to get what they want.

What the world needs to is convince China that N.Korea is not the path to economic and political success. They took a step by conducting inspections but they are the ones that need to put a stop to this as it effects them more than most anyone else (besides S.Korea).

Unfortunately we started this mess using a geographic line as a devision between a single country just to keep communism from spreading. Yeah...look how "evil" china is....

N. Korea has a huge army of footsoldiers just like Iraq but the entire country is not soldiers, they're a bunch of peasants.

The entire economy is totally backwards.

The scariest thing I've read about N.Korea lately is this..

Seoul is 30 miles from the border with North Korea
North Korea has 10,000 artillery pieces aimed at Seoul
Flight time is 57 second if they fired those artillery pieces

So basically they could devestate the entire South Korean capital pretty much before we could evacuate, move to stop them, or respond in any way.

The fact of the matter is Ill is out of his mind, he has the madenss of Hitler, - the brains which makes him twice as dangerous.. He is taking advantage of the Division in the world is what it comes down to, with all the problems over the war in the mid-east, he wants to see how far he can push.. IMHO many people want there name stamped in History whether it be for good or bad reasons.. I think NK is looking for attention, how far they are willing to go to get the amount of attention they want is what scares me.. they are already throwing the W. word around ...

He is trying to push the U.N. since they never backed the United States for the Iraqi invasion. He is going to see how much of an impact the U.N. really has. He believes China will stand behind them, and they just might. They are our biggest threat right now. By that I mean they are the only country stable enough with a large military.

North Korea says the sanctions are a "declaration of war" but how do they think they are going to engage us? WIthout Chinas help they cannot do anything except threaten. If they detonate another nuclear device China will have to step in as well as Russia and shut them down.

Just seems to fit in with the CT scene, that's all. Keeps arguments out of Off Topic.

Richw, I think this whole thing is your fault. You were doing wheelies through the center of N.Korea and they got pissed and made nukes. So there, now it's CT

You've got to be kidding to compare him to Hitler.. Hitler could be described as an evil mad genius.. he took over Germany starting with nothing and almost brought the whole world to it's knees after bringing a wrecked country back to superpower status. He made some retarded decisions yet it still took almost the entire world allied against him to stop him.

Kim Jong Il just happened to be born in the right place with the right silver spoon in his mouth. He's never captured anything or run a single military campaign.

Definitely evil but nowhere near Hitler, and nowhere near as dangerous.

As to lack of division among NESR members.. I think there would be way less division in the US about Iraq if Saddam had really had Nuclear weapons. I think if we had found chemical weapons and maybe biological weapons there would still be some division, but probably not if he'd gone nuclear.

That's IT

You figured it out

The USA needs a throw down nuke... like cops carry throw down hand guns.

Get a mrv warhead
Pull out some trigger parts
File off the serial numbers
Hide it under the dictators bed

While we are at it stuff a couple of dead Al Qaeda guys nearby.

We could go anywhere !!

There is a Venezuelan Al Qaeda connection

You need to read my post before commenting please, We did not invade Iraq expecting to find Nukes, it was based on Cemical and biological weapons, so if that was teh case, the division would have existed before the start of the war, and as far as i know, most polls going into the war were very high in favor
