Because murder and violence are state issues it is hard to track as many states don't keep the records.

I am sure he is real solid on a figure above 3000 per year. The extrapolation gets to the 9000 figure. The extrapolation of data is a known principle. The Left wants to extrapolate elections.

I fully agree with you on the problem of immigrant crime. It's an epidemic. I hear from my family in England and people are actually clamoring to get out and go to the traditional ex-pat countries. Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada, USA. The problem is that England is being over-run with crime from immigrants (legal and otherwise) from all over the world. There are West African gangs, turkish gangs, pakistani gangs, triads, all kinds of petty crime orchestrated by immigrants. The country is going to hell and it's mainly because of open borders. USA would be well served looking at the european problem and heading it off at the border (so to speak, or literally).

I agree, it's a problem. Let's GET some real figures and address it. The problem is that when these politicians spout figures without having solid facts to back them up, it invalidates the argument and plays into the illegal immigrant organization's hands.

Extrapolation only really works if you have a pretty vanilla overall subject group. You cannot compare the immigration crime figures in California and extrapolate them using population or land area in Vermont, for example.

BTW, I didn't see any figures on how many americans kill illegal immigrants. Please don't argue that illegal immigrant's lives don't matter. It's just something to consider.
