Well the obvious answer is it has to be.

Specifically I noticed today the the dumb assed Media is now churning wildly about the useless resolution about the troop surge.

Meanwhile the war itself rages on.

So was it just dumb luck that they responded this way or do you think some genius came up with this as a strategery. This allows both the anti's and the pro's to posture and fume. They seem to be doing something when they aren't this must satisfy their constituents.

Sorry for the troops when they now believe over 50% of the population isn't with them in this...but they probably knew that already.
