I'd like to know what the republican party plans to do in Iraq.

All this talk about what the dem's are going to do. No mention about what the republicans are going to do if their plan that seems not to be working ends up not working.

Whoah, whoah, what's all this talk about a new game plan? We stay the course. You don't change beating a dead horse midstream, as they say.

JoinRudy2008 - Home or just go to the site and read it yourself

ron pauls strategy is cut and run...and focus on our borders

Hillary wants a timeline, which is the most retarded thing i've ever heard of...you dont publically or privately for that matter set a date when you will stop fighting a war....think about what that does. Other then that she just bashes W's plan...

obama - timetable for withdrawl and "reach out" to the neighboring countries to help rebuild

Fuck time lines. Just start packing today and disapear like the Colts back in the day.

Most depressing thing I've read lately was an article about how if Bush said bring 'em home today it would be nearly 2 years before we had all our boys outa' Iraq, logistically speaking, all politics aside.

Yeah I'm gonna vote for Rudy..thats a GREAT idea...considering it was HIS judgment that left about 200 firefighters without proper communication devices and ultimately lead to their deaths..then it also came out that they didn't have the respirators they were supposed to have. So...pretty much his leadership lead to 200 dead firefighters and people who are now sick and will be for the rest of their lives because they were trying to HELP other people. And what does Rudy say? I never read that report. ...great..didn't read it, how many other important documents is he going to skip over should he win the election? But no...he'll just continue to bask in his "heroism" over 9/11. WTF did he actually do down there anyway? Other than use it for his political agenda? What makes him a "hero" ?

Debate question: Rudy what do you plan to do about the healthcare crisis?
Rudy with a pensive look: ...9/11
All applaud

Debate question: Rudy what do think about immigration?
Rudy: ...9/11
All applaud...

It's bullshit. I'm sick of this kind of government. OUR people have issues here that need to be attended to. Our domestic issues NEED to be fixed and Bush has successfully ignored them. Its not just Bush, I'm not stupid. But now we need a real leader to step up and clean this all out. We need someone who can work with both sides and get things done instead of spending trillions of dollars and making the US dollar worth less than the Canadian dollar.

I'm a staunch supporter of Barack Obama. I LOVE how the right wingers insist on calling him B. Hussein Obama. He has never gone by that. They use it in an attempt to liken him to Al Queda and Saddam but he's an American just like the rest of us. I've spent time with the man, personally, he was good friends with my college roommates father. He's an HONEST man..which I think we can all agree is important right now. I don't care if his name is Tinky Winky Bin Hussein Stalin Castro Fluffy the third. Its just a NAME.

Oh and I hate Hillary..

Obama is an empty suit with a grin on top

Next to him Hillary is a statesman. Personally I think he is a straw dog put up by Hillary to draw some fire.

Obama's best quote "Give me 5 dolla you alls got 5 dolla"

They are all lying... right and left there will be troops in Iraq for the next 50 years to protect our oil based economy. You want to leave Iraq build 200 nuke plants then we can leave. OOpps now the lefties have to take a pill and lie down.

Big Reds correct about Nixon guilty of a cover up; that's all

i love it when the over educated types chime in...they seem to have the longests posts without saying anything. I will say the hostility in your posts is astounding...that just means your passionate...i can respect that.

Obama is an empty suit...people like him because he is young, carismatic and black. White guilt makes people want to like him and vote for him...the same guilt that got Imus fired....have you been watching the debates? If he doesn't start presenting himself like a leader he won't get the nomination.

Personally i think they should put both him and hillary on a island someplace and see what the democrats can come up with once they are gone.

Thats really not a fair assessment of Obama. He is an educated, intelligent, successful politician, and I don't think there is any justification to calling him an "empty suit".

With that said, I am worried he might win the nomination, because I really dont think he has the experience (yet) to be President.

I am (unfortunately) on an e-mail list for a bunch of Democratic organizations, and for years I have been getting e-mails about Obama from back when he was just a Senator. He was very well-liked in his constituency, and I've always felt that is the measure of a good politician.
