So, I was watching the moto-X big air last night... I think ESPN should be ashamed of themselves for putting Scott Murray in the competition. This guy didn't have the skills to be there. Shit... he had never even competed anywhere... and his first comp is Xgames? He hasn't spent the time developing tricks, learning skills, etc. He's a one-trick dog who had never even landed his one trick on dirt before. He wouldn't (couldn't?) even do a warm up jump when all the riders were being introduced. He just rolled past the ramp. It's not only dangerous and irresponsible, but a slap in the face to the guys who have busted their ass to get there.

Yeah, everybody loves a Cinderella story, but if they keep admitting no-name guys from the woods just because they're willing to go big someone's eventually going to die on live TV.

i can see your point. there were a lot of first timers out there. the guy that stepped in for nate adams threw down some solid shit though.
if Murray was man enough he would have FOUND a bike to come back out on and retry the trick.

Saw part of it on Friday when I went out for lunch. That fall on the vert ramp looked horrible. I figured he must have broken a number of things falling from that height & was amazed that he even got up.
