Never mind the fact that people want to see big roid'd out guys knocking balls out of the park. Baseball was all but dead until McGuire and Sosa battled it out...

The fans want to see it, the owners want to see it because it fills the staduims and the players want to do it so they can become the next star...

If he wasnt such an ass this would not be as big of a deal. He is an easy person to not like so people have taken all of their ill will of the steroid era and pinned it on him.
