I can confirm first hand that Social Security / ID theft is easy and rampant amongst illegals... I've taken numerous SS cards from illegals over the last few years... some numbers will come back to nothing... and others will come back to a 50yo woman out of Idaho or something...

What I really love is how our court system does seemingly nothing to assist law enforcement with this issue... other then get their fine money and move em along... It's great when you arrest someone, ID them through a 10 print (since the ID they give you is by far correct), they get bailed... never show up to court... get a warrant... have already changed their name, got new ID's, SS cards or whatever... and go about their business... continuing to sell the drugs or whatever it was we got them for to begin with... and since there is no real way to track them... and for $20 they can get a new identity... they're free to do whatever they want... the only hope is they get picked up again and the department as an electronic 10 print system that will match their prints to the warrant... and even then... maybe they won't get bailed from us... so we have to hold them till court opens... transport them... they get arrainged... released... rinse and repeat...

of course then there is the legal american who gets arrested for something like a suspended license... and will end up on probation for years, paying fines the whole way... etc... almost a punishment for being legal...

That is the cycle I see... which may skew my opinion... but it is an opinion based on first hand experience... I would say that a good 60-70 percent of our services that the legal taxpayers support concern an illegal... and this is a seemingly small metrowest town...

just remember that the key word is illegal. hence breaking federal laws by being here. forget the numbers and if your not here by playing ball like the ones who are actually playing by the rules get the hell out. it's simple really. everyone one wants to live here instead of where they came from because of our living standards. look at most countries in the world. most have been around for thousands of years yet they are still cesspools with holes in the ground to crap in. yet the USA has been around for a few hundred years. hmmm
