This clearly means that prostitution is legal in Nevada counties of less than 400,000 people since it is not specifically forbidden anywhere in the Nevada laws. I'd like to see where you are reading that this isn't the case.

Hate to say it...but take it from someone who lived in Las Vegas.

Prostitution within the confines of the city of Las Vegas is Illegal.

It is legal in Parumph...which is where the brothels are. The state regulates the licenses, which require prostitutes to get a physical, including STD test annually, in order to get their license. Which is a card, just like the gaming cards that casino workers get.

Parumph is 80 miles away from Las Vegas.

The Nevada law that I posted pretty much says that. Las Vegas is in a county with more than 400,000 people so it is illegal there. Parumph is in a county with less than 400,000 people so prostitution is legal.

What I was pointing out is that the Nevada law does not specifically outlaw prostitution; just where it can take place.
