Why exactly is prostitution illegal? Forget the moral issues of a married man, but for a single person, what is the horrible terrible thing that makes prostitution illegal. Why shouldn't it be regulated and taxed like everything else. Cigrarettes are legal and their proven to be a huge killer. There is no such thing as a safe cigarette, while there is such a thing as safe sex. hmmm

The thing is, marriage is basically a long term investment in prostitution (which is apparently acceptable in Big Brother's eyes).....why it's illegal to make a short term investment in this lucritive business is beyond me...

what about gambling? doesn't it have same moral as prostitute? i think the disease arguement is weak given todays protection and the child abuse? i think it's not a problem either but don't quote me.

hey! the state could benefit revenue from legalizing prostitute in addition to casino just like vagas.
