Heheh. I like how you follow up "Why dn't you respect the fact...." with "Religion is for the weak and the hopeless..."

Re: Religion

In memory of Charleton Heston (sp?)

"I like to think there is something better then Man in the Universe"

ALL the laws the lefties are so happy with have there root in religous dogma.

When you have children and they ask why something is wrong tell them

"Because a group of self appointed egoists said it was wrong"

Better do tell them that some god decided they were deserving to have something wrong with them than to tell them the truth, huh.

Yeah, that would make me feel all better.

Re: Religion

Lets not forget, Religious Dogma has its roots in the fertile imagination of MAN!!!

Laws are based on Religious Dogma.
Religions Dogma is created by Man.
ergo...laws are created by Man.

...becomes a bit of a circular arguement, n'est ce pas!?

Re: Religion

If the evil doer and the victim are isolated then I suppose its ok to do anything. Why can't the evil doer set up his own ethos where everyting is permissable?

He's a man and man makes the laws

When two people are alone and form a society 'evil doer' has no meaning. Nor does the idea of 'permissable'. What I would hope for is the opportunity to 'reason' an approach for co-existance.

What I would PRAY for is that my co-inhabitant doesn't hold some weird religious belief that he thinks entitles him to rule me according the the tenets of his make believe God.
