I wouldn't punch him in the face...but I would say "fuck it, I'm going anyway". It's always an issue every time I want to head out riding or do anything that involves other people/friends. So I just go and do it anyway now. I used to stay home to avoid arguments, not anymore. Only have one life to live.

BY 25 the exceptions who are still doing adventurous thing will be evident. Girls look around at your high school friends that you used to do stuff. Where are they now. Note kids are a result of nest building not the cause... broken rubber not withstanding.


My partnering advise.... They say opposites attract ...sort of but if a true slob gets together with a neat freak eventually they will split up or turn to drugs. However if a neat freak gets together with someone who is somewhat lazy but appreciates a clean home, it works. As in the lazy one does not thwart the effort. Cheapskate with sensible fun spender not spend thrift. etc.

That is the resulting partnership is both more formitable and has a more enjoyable life and a higher chance of success

I hear ya Bud. I'm 45 my girl is 27. Ya theres a big difference but she is very mature for her age and a great girl. I'm imature for my age and a great guy or so i'm told. So for me it all evens out in the wash. I've been with allot of girls my age give or take a few years and most, not all, haven't even come close to the maturity level of my girl now. Sure it's not perfect we both mess up from time to time but it still works in the end. Age or no Age difference it's all about the connection.
