i used to use them, and i loved them, probably spent a few 100 $$ there this year alone.

Anyways, I order a double bubble from em and a disclock, and im told the order will take a "few weeks" to ship.

This was about May 16 i think that this happened.

on May 29, my cc was charged, and when i called them, they didnt even know about my order!?!?!??!

I began corresponding with a manager over there via email and I thought something good would happen.

6-28 - still looking @ my deck, with nothing on it from UPS.

I got an email from the MANAGER saying it would ship last monday to me or he would pay for it.

He is now ignoring my (very friendly until this AM) emails.

Lets see how long this $$ takes to get back into my account.

I wont even mention that the dealers around me that HAD doublebubble's in stock @ the time of my order (but i was in vancouver) no longer have them either...

******************************
Original post above, this was my starting rant I guess.

since then, I have chatted with a few guys from this place, and they have been cool, but not so eager to earn my buisness.

Apparently now im getting 2x ZG screens as well...ugh...not that i care, cause i can just sell one (thanks cRa1g for the hookup) but still, the nuisance is there.

Its a shame, cause like i said prior, I was always psyched with them and they were an awesome vendor to me, but they fucked me here! All I wanted was to order some stuff while I was working in Vancouver and have it here for when i got back, and that wasnt what happened. Unfortunately, its all being blamed on ZG, but I hold them responsible for not keeping me in the loop.

Anywhos, Ill end this one, and go make a reply to this with the emails I got/sent to Todd (co owner) of KD, its kinda amusing.

I will let you know where this goes, and sorry for the delayed post on this ((but hey at least its all still ongoing!)) but I didnt want to come post my bitching posts over here cause i know im not a total regular around here, so I didnt want to bitch to a bunch of people that think im some whiney jackass ya know?

I felt the need to cutnpaste an email here: newest-top / oldest-bottom.

If you doubt me on the quotes, ill email you the originals.
(feel free to note times on emails as well)

I have deleted half-owner-of-kneedraggers.com's name to protect the innocent.

Maybe I am blowing this out of proportion? but I took it personally when I was basically called a liar by the co-owner of the company.

Hey x,

Since you have taken the "the customer is high" approach, I guess I will remind you of some things someone from this email address said to me

----- Original Message From x -----
Thanks!
Sorry for the confusion! You doi have a Zero Gravity screen still on order. they have been real late in getting out stuff latley! I just spoke with Zero, and there swear it wiil be shipped to you on Monday
---- End Original Message ---

----- Original Message From x -----
please if the Windscreen does not ship to you on Monday, I will buy the screen for you in your dealers window! I know how maddening that can be!
All the best.
Todd
---- End Original Message ---

you said it to me!!!
i didnt pull it out of thin air here, if nothing else, a simple communication that it was going to be this week instead of monday probably would have sufficed.

YOU know how maddening it can be, yet YOU are upset with the tone of my email?

So basically, you break your word to me, and then act like im flying off the handle, woe is me.

Well I guess at this point I should apologize too, for not being a more important customer.

I know none of this is probably your fault, and you really dont have any control over circumstances.
But, im not even mad at you for circumstances, im mad that

a. I got nothing for feedback - in my neighboorhood, you take 150$ from someone and dont tell them anything, your going to be flat quick. (yes I know this "lack of feedback" will be disputed, however all the email traffic except for original mailing was initiated by me, no denying that)

b. When i did get feedback - it was misinformation, perhaps a mistake, but if its not 100%, then dont say it to the guy that is funding it.

I definetely appreciate the kinder tone of the emails that occured before today. Im sure you are a busy person, and thats cool, we all are. But if i get an email from someone requesting a tracking number, I would dig through my sent items pretty quick so i could see what he was talking about before something goes awry. I apologize for my tone, but im trying to keep this professional as possible. Sorry we had to dance this dance to salsa and hot lights versus mozart and candles.

Again, thank you for your involvement in this issue, perhaps we can bring it to a resolve from this juncture moving forward.

Regards,
~c:

Hi Chris,
As per our last e-mail, I thought we had an understanding about what was going on with this order. I have to be honest, and tell you I am a little upset with the tone of this e-mail.

First of all, the xena alarms are out of stock and have been for months. I do not have an ETA when they will be coming in. Zero gravity promised to ship out your screen this week sometime.

We do not ship them to the customer. Zero Gravity does. I am unable to ship your screen overnight, because of this fact! Zero gravity has not yet called me back today, when I initialy inquired about the status of this order. Not that this is an excuse, but it is impossible for me to tell you what is going on when I have no idea.

When we spoke about this problem in the e-mails from Friday, I thought we had an understanding! I have no problem crediting you back for this order, but I need to know the screen has either been shipped or not. The urgency you are putting on this e-mail, leaves with the feeling we did not come to an understading on Friday! I am positive we discussed the Zero problem, and I told you they would ship it out ASAP sometime this week. That is why I have a hard time understanding why you are asking for the creditback on Thursday, and making it seem that this is OUR fault! again I will apologize for the delays, and crappy service on this order.

Regards,
x

x,

Please address this issue as soon as possible. After review of my account I realized it has been a month+ since I gave kneedraggers my order and a month that you've had my money.

Please refund my money today to my account or overnight this order to me (without further charge to my account).

I would really just like to have the order I placed over a month ago and be done with this, and have the products in hand. If there are extenuating circumstances that prevent this from happening, please let me know ASAP.

Thanks for your help with this urgent issue.
Chris

Chris,

As a follow up to my reply on this topic on the SRNE site...I received yet another shipment from Kneedraggers.com today, and they were right on time, and performed admirably.

I hear you on the noted posts, but they have really come through for me. In the instance of this last purchase, I had ordered a couple of sprockets and a gold DID EVR chain. The chain was going to be a couple of extra days in arriving, and they called me immediately to let me know. I thought that was pretty cool.

Maybe you have jolted them into "immediate" customer service! Anyway, they are treating me right...let's hope it continues!

Yeah, I take full responsibility for that one...they definetely did take a 0-100 run into the CS game.

FWIW: I did get the zg screen...eh...ok I guess? put in on Friday I think? I dunno, came sometime this week.

Still really not pleased with the whole attitude, I guess they are pretty fuckin mad I bitched from every bike website im on, about what happened. The guy i was talking too took it all personal and now I dont get ANY emails from them. I would have no comms @ all except that i know one of the dudes IM names (which will probably change now as well).

Blah, lesson learned...its a shame too. I made some mention of comping me some $$$ for this shit when I PLACED MY NEXT ORDER and they are just so mad at me they wont even discuss it, so yeah - sure ill spend lots of $$ there.

FYI: When my stuff was going to be late, they called me too...it was cool, it just never showed up!
(and neither did their customer service )

Its cool you had a good experience with them , its good to see someone finds them useful!! lol. However they just lost about 2k a year from me and my friends, so they will need someone to keep their buisness going.

All i have to say is when a customer is mad, do you get mad back? and then post it to a public forum? or do you just email them, settle it, and make sure the customer is soo fuckin happy that he goes back to the www forum and tells everyone how awesome they are?

Being in CS about half my professional life, and occasionally takin it from a customer or two, id have to say the latter is GOOD customer service, they prior is BAD, but thats just me. Maybe its why i dont own a www shop? who knows.

So yeah, im still pissed, and they're still lucky I dont live closer to Delaware

I'm going to start a forum for good/bad dealers/vendors soon...so we can get all this info in one spot. I've got a short list of dealers/vendors I won't be doing business with again, as I'm sure the rest of us do.

For now, Cyclemall.net. I've heard some negative things about the owner of this place...from the TL board/email list, etc. regarding his 'personality flaws' and an incident that happened between him and a customer. Well....I ordered my Scotts from them, because I knew for SURE they offered them (and it was an impulse buy..,hehe). I ordered FedEx overnight on a Wednesday...and the following day I followed up with an email to be sure it would go right out. I was assured that it was in stock and would ship that Thursday. Well...that should have landed it in my hands by Friday. A full week later I found myself on the phone with Frank @ Cyclemall.net asking where the hell my damper was. Turns out they didn't specify overnight (but it did go 3 day, for whatever reason), and it was to be drop shipped directly from Scotts. So, Scotts dropped the ball just a little by delaying the order processing/shipment...but the fact remains that *I* had to call Cyclemall.net after sending two unanswered emails inquiring about my order. I would almost expect better customer service from Cycles!128!!! Almost....and I'll get into THAT in the new forum, and after they're done with my 30k mile service at the end of this week.

That's all for now....stay tuned for the new forum and all that jive (once the forum is upgraded to the latest version, I'll probably put a sub-forum in under controversial topics for this stuff).

I just ordered a set of front and rear Pit-Bull stands from kneedraggers.com. Since one of our members says they're great, and another says they suck....I think we need a better average than 50/50. So...I should have them by the end of this week (Wednesday if all goes well), and I'm REALLY hoping I have better luck than Chris did.

I didn't talk to them with the exception of them calling to ask if I *really* wanted to pay over $100 for 2-day shipping (which I don't!). They said they would ship out today, though....so I should have the stands this week.

I really wouldn't have ordered from them if I hadn't heard so many good things from other people (not just Craig, but lots of folks on some other boards have had nothing but great things to say about them).

And since I'm such a nerd...I steered away from ordering direct from pit-bull because I don't like the idea of fax/emailing my credit card info over to them. Of course, I never even considered picking up the phone. :biggrin D'OH! Oh well....their prices were real close to ordering direct anyway so I'm not too worried.

JC,

Be sure to give us an update on how this turns out! If they don't give you the customer service you deserve, they should hear about it from you too! Good luck.

By the way, I am planning to buy the "reversible" one armed rear stand for Ducati's that Pit Bull just came out with. It allows you to lift the bike from BOTH sides, and thus allows for tire removal, sprocket work, or anything else. It's really cool - I was checking it out on the Pit Bull site. The current price is $179, so I think I'll wait to see if there is a better price at the online retailers before buying.

Keep us posted on the outcome of your order.

I'll do that! I should have it either late this week or early next week. It's coming ups ground...and I don't know if it'll be drop-shipped or what...so those are all factors in the shipping time. I won't have my bike until next week at the earliest anyway...so I'll be patient.

Well, I know that PB makes the stands custom "per order" as they told me themselves, took me about 5 buisness days from order confirmation to arrival.

Also..to keep updated on kd.com thing...got the ZG, dig it...think it makes me look like a bit of a grandpa, but fuckit, I can do 100+ and still hear myself think!

I will probably end up going back there, cause I do like what they offer n stuff, but they are just too busy to care what lil ol me says or does, kinda pisses me off. Actually, from the seething IM's i got from them, i guess maybe they were a bit more pissed when i posted to a few public forums about how shitty they were to me.

Something to the effect of "well if you told us you were going to post something public.." well SHIT, thats half the fun aint it? your buddy saying "uh, checked cbr929rr.org lately...your on it??" gotta love it.

unfortunately the world is conspiring against me and is not cooperating with my plan to destroy them...so I will have to take it upon myself. Off to delaware I go...cheers!

Hey guys,

I couldn't wait on the Pit Bull reversible one armed stand for the Ducati (new release). I called Pit Bull yesterday, and ordered it. It comes with BOTH pins (for lifting the bike from either side), and it's a deal compared to the $140 it costs for a "basic" rear stand.

I had to get it - the rear stand that comes with the bike (made of the same tubular steel as the frame on the 996), is really cool, but it is a PITA to use. If you are doing it yourself, you have to have a real system (which I do, luckily).

The one armed rear that Pit Bull is making is awesome because when you lift the bike from the LEFT side, the "arm" of the stand actually come FORWARD. This is cool because it leaves you positioned directly next to the bike when lifting it. I know it will be a lot easier than my Lockhart Phillips rear swingarm stand that I use for my R1 - THAT is a real PITA!

I think I'll be ordering up mine soon too. I had a buddy of mine weld some brackets on my old stand so it'd work with the Tiller. Just doesn't cut it though. Plus with the new bike I should have a shiney new stand too, right? RIGHT???
