OK guys, any input on the best local Yamaha mechanics? I'm looking for a great price on service, but most importantly, I'm interested in QUALITY of work.

Dependability, knowledge, and just giving a damn mean a lot when someone has their mitts on my bike. I know you all feel the same way, so any input you can provide based on experience or good word of mouth will be appreciated.

I have used Brockton Cycle Center twice, and will never go their again...

I hear South Shore Motorsports is supposed to be EXCELLENT, and that is where I'm planning to investigate next. Please provide input on this shop in particular if you have knowledge of them.

I'll ask for him. I have another service I intend to get in about 2,000 miles for the R1. I'll tell him you sent me.

This will be cool being close to the house and all - and to NOT go back to Brockton Cycle Center for service (they suck).

I have a tentative appointment to have the R1 serviced at Cape Cod Powersports next Monday around noon time. Maybe we could meet up down there?

I'm going to have Alison meet me at some point, so that I can drop her back off at work, and then take her truck for the day. If they need to keep the bike overnight (shouldn't) I can come back the next day with Alison - no sweat.
