JoeRocket gear SUCKSprice is cheap, but you get what you pay for, a few years ago, I got joe rocket ballistic jacket & pants, the pants seams split withing a week, my dealer replace them no problem, the replacements split within a week again, basicly sucky stitching, I stitched them myself, and that repair is still holding, but now side zippers are fucked and I have to use a half roll of duct tape to ride with them, the jacket also has broken vent zippers . last week cause I am strapped for cash, I order new JR ballistic pants, today thay came in, fit perfect, after I get home, I go to put them on to go riding and the the webbing for one of the belt buckles pulled right out of the stitching. before I even got to wear them once. |

JoeRocket gear SUCKSI just ebayed off my JR pants & jacket after one season. I had to do some stitch work on the jacket before shipping it as "used & good condition". http://motoport.com/saveyourhide.pdf...1-800-777-6499 Everyone has their own angle, but the info in the above pdf is pretty convincing in terms of what you can expect from a run of the mill made nylon jacket. My Motoport Kevlar jacket came in, and I am extremely satisfied with it so far. Stitching is by far superior than the JR, it is essentially a custom made jacket with tailored to fit me specifically. |

JoeRocket gear SUCKSyou know i got some Tourmaster stuff a long time ago and its holding up pretty good. Very similar to a snow suit though. After 4 years, its still pretty waterprooof too. I dont remember what they cost, but i bought em cause they were cheap at the time. The suit has been loaned out to several riders for track days, i have used it several times for snow riding/crashing on quads and snowmobiles, inlcuding skitching behind quads on my knees and crashing my 50 into snow banks. Occassionally i use it for street riding in cold/unpleasant weather. Its holding up great... a lot more than i can say for my fieldsheer tattoo jacket which i replaced this winter. |

JoeRocket gear SUCKSI got my Ballistic 3.0 3/4 jacket well used with the Ducati. Still holds up great. I also got the Ballistic pants. Not a fan how they fit (I'm in the snow-pants gang!), but they have held up to going down twice without a mark just like the jacket. |
