Morrison Cycle

I HIGHLY recommend:

Morrison Cycle & Ski Doo
181 Littleworth Rd
Madbury, NH
(603) 749-3375

EXAMPLES:

A.) 3 yrs ago I took a '94 Katana 750 in for a valve check and tune-up. The valves were put in spec (really needed it), new plugs, adjusted clutch lever, adjusted brake lever, set idle, cleaned air filter, tightened and lubed chain, and aligned rear tire.
TOTAL:
64 dollars. Incl. parts.

B.) Mounted and balanced rear tire on Katana: $15

C.) Monday I dropped off the 1K for a valve check and new irridium plugs (I supplied the plugs), plus my rear brake quit working (damn stoppies). Valves are done, plugs are in, he losened the chain, lubed it, aligned the rear, adjusted the clutch lever, fixed the brakes (new pads and bled out the foam), and set the idle.
TOTAL:
$118. Incl. parts.

There is no sign in front of his shop, no fancy waiting rooms, no free coffee.
If you want someone with great prices, someone who cares enough to fix whatever they find, right, the first time, call Morrison Cycle.

Are they a dealership, or 'just' a shop? Are their mechanics 'certified'? Madbury isn't all that far from me, and as you may have read, I'm lookin' to get in good with someone local....

there a shop, they used to have a dealership years ago, I came close to buying a Kawi from them back in 80-81, ended up buying a Honda from Berringer Yamaha in rochester, another dealer no longer in existance. I thiink they still are a snowmobile dealer. there about 3-4 miles down the road from my new office.

Yup, what RandyO said. They is really only one guy. I think Leighton's was at that location in the 70's before they went to 125.

I don't know about any certifications, or licenses, and would assume he is a Ski-Doo dealer.

When I was fishing for quotes on the Katana's valve job and tune-up, dealers were telling me 250-300$. One even quoted 400$.
Everytime I get a 65 -100$ bill for the same, I smile all the way home.

I may just look him up and give him a shout. Not that I need anything right now. But like I said, I've been searching for a mechanic to get in good with. Maybe we can hook up for a ride and stop by his place this weekend? Then again, JC & I are gonna be mounting new D207's on the Tiller tomorrow. We kinda half-ass balanced 'em last time, maybe I'll take a swing over and see if he's got a static...

Wut be your plan for tomorrow?
