...I'm PISSED!

So, I've got a line on new wheels, complete with rotors, bearings, cushdrive, etc. Like two weeks ago I was first in contact with the seller. I didn't have the money until my next check...so I had to tell him to wait. He did. Then my boss and I were both out on Monday so I didn't get my check until Tuesday.

The check had cleared on Wednesday, so I went to the post office in Amesbury to get a money order to pay for the wheels (the guy really wanted a money order). You can only buy money orders with cash or a debit card...so I gave them my debit/Visa card. They ran it through as a credit, and had to void it. Then it wouldn't read my card, and they told me 'sorry, we can't help you'.

I left and used my card at a gas station without incident.

I then went to the post office in Salisbury, and went through the same shit! They couldn't get it to read the card, and the one time it did she forgot to hit 'debit' on the slider so she had to void that transaction as well. Then she couldn't get it to go through as a debit (even *I* took the card and tried swiping it through the reader)...and told me 'sorry, we can't help you'.

So I head back to work all pissed off, and email the guy to tell him if he can't take a check or paypal, that I'm not buying the fucking wheels. He said fine...etc...so I got ready to send a check (online banking). I log in, and hey lookie there....TWO fucking charges of $675.90!!! That leaves me with $60!!!

So now I have $60 in my account, I can't send this guy his check (cuz it deducts from the account when it's sent)...and I have to wait up to 7 business days for the charges to reverse!!!!

I'm about to go down there and 'go customer' on their postal asses! FUCK THE POST OFFICE!!!!!!!!

JC, that's bullshit. I'd raise a stink, in a big way. That shit just ain't right. Ain't right at all...

My account was all straightened out on Saturday morning, so the check went out for the wheels today! I should have the wheels next week at the latest.

Yep! I'll hopefully order tires next week...but I bought a computer today so I'm not sure about that.
