Dunbar SUCKS !:thumbdown Dunbar has to be the friggin worst dealer around! I have a huge story behind it but I am to damn lazy to type it out, just trust me! From what I hear BCM is the place for NH and I go to Razees in RI for my work. And Dunbars is only 20 min. away! Did I mention that they suck dead cows balls!!!!! ![]() |

Dunbar SUCKS !What really sucks is that he does have some real FBF stuff in the store but I refuse to go in there after the treatment I got when I was looking for a dealer to do my service work. I sent in this bad dealer stuff to the other web site but do you think it ever showed up there? NOT !!!! |

Dunbar SUCKS !Hey Pinhead, I can back you up 100% on this one! Tom Fournier is a total moron. ![]() When I was looking for my Duc 996, I stopped into his shop (because they are relatively close). He was a total jerk, and acted like I was putting him out by asking several questions about the bikes. Uhhh, wouldn't anyone do that if they were ready to put down the money for a 996? I then made the mistake of going there for a few minor parts after I got the bike to do my own maintenace (oil filters, crush washers, etc.). Again...he was a major drag, and acted like I was a MAJOR pain when I asked him for specifics on how to adjust the chain tension on a single sided swingarm (hadn't ever done it before). ![]() Bottom line? I will NEVER go back to that place - for parts, service, or free lap dances - that idiot. ![]() |

Dunbar SUCKS !I had the misfortune to leave my bike at Dunbar recently. The oil pressure light came on and I didn't want to risk riding it. I had the switch replaced a few days before, but still didn't want to take the chance. I needed a favor and left the bike in Dunbar's lot. As I was writing out a note on a Sunday, Tom pulled in. I explained teh situation. He told me to pull it in around back and I did. Tuesday at 9:30AM I called Dunbar. Tom was busy so I told the clerk that I would have someone come by to pick it up. Riverside replaced the switch and all other work had been done by BCM, who agreed to cover the problem. Craig was way cool and drove from Buzzard's Bay to Dunbar to pick up my bike with his new pickup. When Craig got to my house, he told me that when he announced to tom that he was there to pick up my bike, Tom told him he could, AFTER he paid the bill. Craif was confused. Did you so any work on it?? NO, said Tom. Then what bill? THE STORAGE BILL. $50 for a day and a half. Craig paid the bill. Then Craig asked if he could lend him a hand loading the bike. Tom picked up an aluminum ramp, walked out back, dropped it on the ground and walked away. |

Dunbar SUCKS !Dunbar's does suck. I broughy my Triumph sprint RS in for service, and they acted like it was a major nuisance to talk to a customer. Didn't even talk to me regarding what the service had entailed. Needless to say I'm not going back there again, I drive up to NH to get my bike parts and serviced, a major hike but worth the trip to know that the shop actually gives a shit about the bike. Moto Italia in Worcester is a cool shop, the owner is a cool guy and seems like he would bend over backwards to help you out. While I was going to school out there two or three years ago, he'd let me and my buddies (who were totally broke at the time) ride the demos and use the shop to fix our rats (a 78 Kz 650 at the time) and is a total gear head. The shop doesn't seem too bad for routine service, though I don't think it is the best around. Hopinng to get my profile soon... first post on NESTREETRIDERS!!!! |
