BCM MotorsportsToo bad they only have Ducati at this shop...I wish they sold / serviced EVERY make. I'm sure a lot of others do too. I have spent a couple of days up there with Bruce Meyers over the last few weeks - and that guy is one of the most knowledgeable, accommodating, and just plain decent guys you will ever meet.:thumbup It's kind of funny, but his shop is so small, you would miss it if you weren't very careful as you approached. Once there though, you understand why he is sought after (for engine building, etc.) by sport riders and racers from coast to coast. Even the "little things" that he can share with you to make your experience with your bike better, are really cool. His wife - Susie - is also a breath of fresh air when it comes to dealing with a bike shop. She responds to inquiries quickly, and they will BOTH work with the schedule if necessary, and you need their help in a hurry (even during the really busy season). Their prices for parts / apparel are fair (half of what Dunbar charges in some instances), and they go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. As it is, I'd like to get a ZG DubBub smoke screen for the 996 - but I'll wait until they get them in - and buy it from them. ![]() Oh yeah, and taking RT 107 all the way north to their shop (and back south as well) makes it WORTH the ride up there... ![]() BCM ROCKS! ![]() [Edited on 8/12/01 by cRa1g] |

BCM MotorsportsNo question, BCM is a cool place, 2 years ago when I was bike shopping, on of the bike's I was considering was the Cagiva Gran Canyon, where there are no local dealers but it has the Duc 904 motor in it, I went there to see if I bought it would they service it for me. Bruce said no problem but we got to discussing why I wanted a dual sport, after I described to him the riding I do (lottsa dirt roads) he recomended I consider a monster750 with dual sport tires, that made me reconsider the SV650. the SV was about $1500 less but there weren't many around. I stopped there again earlier this year, spoke with Susie about a M600 for my wife, ya, if she ever gets comfortable riding on her own, she loves the little monster, I can't wait for her to graduate from her CM250 |
