Seacoast Sport Cycle GIANT Bump

Ok so some of you may alreay know this, but this place is awesome.
The past month or so ive been shopping for boots, been online, on here, asking guys checking web sites etc. Well im on vacation this week, and I was going to buy boots. But I wanted to try them on. Dealer after deal after dealer said " what road race boots? We have motocross boots." and the ones who knew what they were said no im sorry we dont stock those. Anyways yesterday I decdie to go to a couple of dealersd and find out they actually have boots, well one kind anyways. One place had Oxtar ssperformance 2 and the other had sidi b2s. Neither fit me very well and I was looking for something different. Many caolls later I try Seacoast sport cycle. MY PRAYERS ANSWERED. I talk to Pat the parts Guru there and she told me what she had in stock etc... but it was late in the day and I didnt have time to go there. So I packed up the bike headed there today.
OK PAT ROCKS GIANT BUMP FOR PAT. Not only did she let me try on a few pairs of boots, explain the features, etc.. she showed me pants and helmets which she knew I wasnt going tobuy today.
Anyways for those who complained about not having a place to check out gear, this is the place. The have I believe 3 models of sidi boots (B2, Vertigo, and Vertigo Corsa) a couple fo Alipine starts, plenty of race suits jackets, pants gloves etc. Suomy, Arai, Shoei, and Nolan helmets.
Pat was super knowlegeable, wicked friendly, passionate about the gear and riding, let me try stuff on, chatted me up. I will be buying my new pants and helmet there in du time. Even though its about 1 1/2 hours away. She made it well worth the trip.

DAMN IT, I should have seen this coming. Well played sir.

But seirously every other dealer ive been too, especially in the last couple of days was like some kid who knew nothing about gear for the street. IT just annoyed me, and was nice to actually deal with someone who knew their shit.

Welcome to the seacoast family. I have been racing / riding with them for the past 7 years. Seacoast is the ONLY place I shop for bikes, gear and accessories.

Pat kicks ass too!

I have twice, the first time was a 749 with a big bore kit and some other stuff done. It was like a different bike when I picked it up, in a good way. When I brought the Ducati up there, I had already installed a PCIII that I bought off ebay. The power commander turned out to be defective, so Charles went and took it off and installed one he had on the shelf, and then sent mine back. I thought that was a cool thing to do, it saved me from having to return the defective one myself, get the new one, install it, and reschedule the dyno time. The second bike was my Aprilia, I was equally happy with the results on that bike. As you can probably tell, I won't be going anywhere else.

They had it for the day. I don't know if it's something you could wait around for, or even how long it takes on average.

My SS is at Seacoast right now waiting for the weather to warm up a bit for some dyno runs. From what I'm hearing here I'm glad that I chose them to do the work. My contact with Seacoast (email, phone and in person) have all been very professional. They actually ANSWER email from the contact email address on their website. What a concept!

Do they happen to have a decent selection of leathers up there? I need some gear and i'd like to try on a few jackets to see what fits.

It's a different level of service IMO, I like the attention to detail.

They have a good selection of gear up there, and they did a great job finding my friend Alan a suit (6'9") so I think they can fit just about anybody.

Re: Seacoast Sport Cycle GIANT Bump

Absolutely agree 100% with any good feedback at Seacoast. I contacted Patricia to try on leathers cos it's REALLY hard to find women's leathers to try on. I haven't bought them yet, but I plan to, I did end up getting boots and gloves though!!! Patricia (and everyone else at seacoast) has been great! and yeah lucy's cool too, although she was too lazy to get off her bed the last time I was there

Figure two hours on the dyno to do a full map for a PCIII.
