$65 and its worth every penny...who needs saddlebags!
Bought it for my Maine trip and was most satisfied.
Dimensions are 8.5"H x 15"W x 13"L and it expands 3in. on each side.
I stuffed two pairs of jeans, three shirts, sweat pants, timberland boots, toiletries, and enough socks/unmentionables for three days.
Will also accomodate a 17in laptop!

It attaches very nicely with sturdy plastic hooks that are very elastic. Had to do a little custom mounting because of the rear handles on the Kawi, but it was safe, secure and worry free!

Been using one of these for 5 years or so. Even with all the hardbags on my Ducs I will use this thing. On the Strada I will load it up and stick it in the Hard Tail bag. Keep all the stuff I want to bring inside and just grab it and run. (I don't miss home...I take it with me...!)

is it more rigid of a bag than the regular tailbag from cortech? i have the one thats like a duffel bag and used it for a while on my ninja250, but if you dont fill that sucker to the brim it gets rather sloppy and the contents shift and turn the bag into weird shapes....the regular tailbag holds a bit more i think though.

ive been considering the sport saddles too, any experience with those?

Mzdagrl has the Saddle Bags...the tail bag is def. sturdy and has plastic supports when expanded, no complaints thus far!

I've used mine a lot over the last 3-4 years. I do have a couple issues with it that others may have already overcome.

The bungee straps will destroy the paint on the sides of a sport bike tail. They pass through the bag, wrap around the tail and fasten at the passenger foot pegs. Where the straps bend around the tail will be missing paint fairly quickly.

The carrying handle on the back will bounce off the tail and eventually wear off the paint on the top of the tail.

The elastic rain cover will not stay on at highway speeds. A little bit of wind seems to be enough for it to work itself free and fly off. If you're lucky enough to see it in your mirror or be followed by other riders you have a chance of recovering it.

I have the whole setup: 21L tankbag, Saddlebags, and the tailbag.

Tailbag is voluminous, saddlebags are bvery handy, and the Tankbag, when full (it also expands to hold another 30% of volume) makes a great pillow to lean on during long superslab runs.

Don't get me wrong, I won't quit using mine and as you can see from my avatar I sometimes ride fully loaded with tank, tail and saddles too. Some people are really anal about preserving their bikes though so I thought the rubbing issues were worth mentioning.

Should have em at your favorite local store...or at various online vendors.

As for the paint rubbing off...I position the forward bungees so that they rest on the seam on my seat, so they are locked in and no issues thus far. I get minor contact where I attach the rear cords and of course, the handle does bounce on the tail as well. But it all buffs out thus far, and I see no issues in the future!

All, I have this bag and really like it. For those of you concerned (like I was) about the bungee cords marking up the bodywork of your bike, get a four pack of Fieldsheer's bungee cord protectors. They are part number 470-1016, or if you're in Southern NH go see the guys over at Souhegan Valley Motorsports in Milford. They have some there. They are universal sleeves for bungee cords, and provide a good padding against your bike.
