I just checked them out and they have quite a few bikes on hand for sale with some other basic inventory in stock too. With more to come (opened less than 1 week from this post) we will see how this place pans out in the bikeshopless area of Foxboro. I will update this post in the future after they have more time to settle in and I can talk with customers about there service.

Went in to check out MOMS again. Ummm 10600 for a 2002 R1 with 3000 miles of squid center wear in the rear tire
I said 10600! Are you nuts, then it was the oh did I say 10,6 I should have said 9600.. Oh I see that is much better
There was a 2000 Ducati monster on the floor with a price tag of 7800..
OK enough about the bikes, where are the riding boots......Yes for the street......you dont carry any street riding boots......you dont plan on carrying them either.......

That should give ya an idea of the place

I might stop back in for some oil if I am in a bind

If I hear of any GOOD changes I will update this.

That's funny, Ed, I went in and asked about boots, too. They told me that boots were a tough thing to carry because of all the different sizes and styles.

I think they stretched a little too much to open the second store. If you look at the pix of the NH store, there are a ton of accessories, but the MA store is nearly empty.

I hope they make it, but for now all the business I can give them is an inspection sticker.

I stopped by the shop today to check it out. They had a pretty good selection of bikes. i looked at some CBR600's. They had a '94 F2 with 15k miles on it. They wanted something like $4900 for it....seemed a bit high to me..what do you guys think? The salesman I talked to said that they can get bikes from the NH store pretty quickly. the rest of the shop seemed pretty nice, they had a selection of gloves and a few racks of jackets but not much else. It's always fun to go and look at bikes!

retail on that bike is 3675
www.kbb.com

everything they have is overpriced. there ideal customer is someone who just wants to know how much the payments are going to be.

i ended up buying a new dukeII for a lot less that they wanted for there used one.

Okay, I wasn't gonna chime in about these guys, buuuuuuuut...

They ARE a joke. And you're right. They're geared primarily toward the younger crew that are only concerned about what their monthly payments will be. No concern about the sticker, no concern about finance rates/charges, no concerns about the term. I would NEVER buy a bike from them...

I haven't been in there store since they expanded it (Manchester). But they don't carry a whole lot of QUALITY accessories there, either...

I've never been a fan of that place...

South Shore Motorsports in Quincy has a good reputation. Bettencourts in Bridgewater is good. Brockton Cycle Center in Brockton has a good accessory selection. New England Motorsports in Webster is a great shop. Great Bay Triumph/Ducati all the way up in North Hampton, NH, is a fkn GREAT shop.

Bettencourts is good BUT doesn't have a variety of gear...

Brockton cycle does have a lot of gear BUT it's never the latest models... always past years. So if you're looking for something new you just saw - you won't find it here. Gear tends to be slightly over priced depending on what you're looking at... bikes are WAY over priced ... same with Rayzee's (sp?) waaay over priced bikes

I found most used bikes at shops are way out of wack. You guys want to laugh go to Windmill in Dartmouth. They have a large selection of used bikes, most newer. The prices are f****** crazy, sometimes only $200-$300 off new with a few thousand miles right down the center of the tire. They have alot of bikes so if you want to see how that 996 or FZ1 feels its good for that. You guys are right, they finance anyone and get payments low which is unfortunate trend.

I stop by MOM's home store in Manchester NH once or twice a year, just to check out all of the different used bikes. It's the best place I know of to see all different makes, from the present back to the seventies.

Sort of like a motorcycle museum... very entertaining to wander around and take in the sights.

As far as buying a bike from them, I'll agree with the previous posts. Everything is marked very high. I'm sure they'll come down in price if you're a serious buyer, but it begs the question...

If they are an honest shop, why are the listed prices so ridiculously high? It seems to me that they are trying to take advantage of the uneducated buyer. Not a good way to establish a lasting & trusting customer base!
