EmpireGP ROCKS!!!!!!!!

Hi all... thanks for checking in on this thread! As most of you know by my rants 'n ravings since August, I was the victim of self-indulgence with the throttle, mixed w/male ego and small penis syndrome! Aka.. I crashed.

I really did not think that I would have the bike back together anytime soon. Every piece of plastic, save the undercowl, was trashed. If it was even slightly cracked it became more so as I literally ripped pieces from my bike. We all know how much replacement plastic costs and I never thought I could have the parts repaired.. bad experience with that in the late 80's.

Anyway... out of the blue I get an email from Bob at EmpireGP. It was a very low-key nonpressuring type of thing... just to let me know what he could do and introduce me to his website. (listed below).

While Bob's shop is in NY, he is constantly in our area and on 12/8 he picked up my parts. He has been in constanct touch with me updating on the status of my repair. There are pics on another thread showing some before/after shots.

My primary reason for writing this is to give a big SHOUT OUT for EmpireGP. The professional, personal service I received along with the obvious quality of the work make this company worthy of doing business with. The pricing is unbelievable! And besides, Bob's a rider and member of NESR... let's keep our business in-house.

I hope that none of you ever have to use Bob's service, but if your kid knocks the bike over.... call him first before ordering a new part.

Sounds like these guys are takin' really good care of ya, Rich. It's always great to hear of places like this...

Keep up the great work, Bob!

(Rich, lemme know when you go out there. Gimme a few days notice and make it a Tuesday or Thursday, and I'll see if I can make the journey...)

Ok... drove out to Bob's, (aka Plasticweld.... should be aks "The Mad Scientist"), shop.

Let me tell ya, this guy KNOWS what he's doing. Looking over the parts you can't tell they were ever damaged, unless you look at the back side. The front cowling was my most damaged piece, I believe it was in four large pieces and all the headlight tabs were broken off. He welded all the parts back together and there is honestly no spot on the outside that shows where it was cracked.

My choice of paint colors may not be to everyone's taste, pearl white. But my opinion is that white is the most difficult to paint. Bob's paint job is excellent. It's not a custom paint job... but it's an A+ job none the less.

I'm in the process of looking around for a good mechanic for the reassembly. Once completed I will post some pics!

Again, my highest recommendation for EmpireGP. Two thumbs up!

Finally got a pic of my bike. Empire painted the stripe on the front fender, the mirrors, and the number plate on the tail section.

Question

Empire GP

What is Empire GP's phone number? They took it off the website and before I could remember to write it down. One of you guys must have it.

I need to get hold of either Russel or Bob.

Thanks,
Eric
