I Agree Dunbar Sucks!

Can we just start a new thread on the many ways in which Dunbar sucks? I find it refreshing that my opinion (much to my surprise) turned out to be the general consensus on this board regarding Dunbar Cycles. I'm assuming I met "Tom" when I stopped by there today. I think he profiled me and decided I wasn't worthy of one of his Ducatis, as he wouldn't give me the time of day, let alone any particulars about the bikes he had. Does he manage to sell anything? I almost told him to F@$K himself with the attitude he had toward me. What a jerk! I might've bought the 996S he had, but I wouldn't now. Although I'm not sure he'd even let me buy it anyway. What's with that guy?!

Sprocket-PLEASE don't edit your cuss words, ya fuck!!!

And if you're serious about a Duc, you should look into BCM in Laconia, NH. I've heard nothing but things about them, and they're developed quite a cult-like following...

:thumbdown Dunbar has to be the friggin worst dealer around! I have a huge story behind it but I am to damn lazy to type it out, just trust me! From what I hear BCM is the place for NH and I go to Razees in RI for my work. And Dunbars is only 20 min. away! Did I mention that they suck dead cows balls!!!!!

Sorry Stoneman,
I'm new to the boards and still not sure of the do's and don'ts. However, what am I thinking? That's never stopped me before. I've also heard good things about the guys in NH. I think I'll give them a call.

Sprocket. What kind of Ducati are you looking for? 996? I can make a call to BCM and get you a deal close to cost if you want. They had a couple new 2001 Ducati 996's for $14,500 and Ducati is offering to throw in 2.75% financing or an additional 2 year warranty on all '01 models. www.ducati.com, www.ducatiusa.com, bcmducati.com are the relevant sites.

Pinhead, where did you buy your bike? where do you live? where do you get it serviced? BCM does my service work and has an excellent reputation. Al Arbor (Riverside) is also very knowledgeable. Riverside's prices will tend to be higher since their city overhead is higher than BCM's in Laconia. If you'd like to go to BCM let me know, I'll make a call and get you the lowest pricing possible for a 6K mile service. Scheduling is perhaps the bigger issue, since BCM tends to be very busy and books weeks out. When do you need the service done? Also, are you on the cd-rom list?
