*** I guess I need a few more posts to be able to post links or photos. Once I'm there I'll post up a link and some photos from last year's ride. ***
I plan to make it, if I don't do either an enduro or hare scramble. Both of which are also scheduled for 5/20.![]()

I hear ya. Why is it there are a bunch of things you want to do one weekend, then a couple weekends go by with nothing. Here's two examples. The Southwick National is always on the same weekend as the New England Trailride in NH. This year there's an AMA Supermoto race in Syracuse, NY and it's the same day as the Unadilla National.![]()
Wayno and I rode that last year as well.. Man it rained like a mofo.
I am up for it. I got a truck and trailer and could haul 4 or 5 bikes if we get that much interest.

i could be down for this... what does quiet mean for exhaust? i have stocker on my 400 exc but i dont think its quiet, not obnoxious... but do they db meter it?
If it's the stock muffler and the packing is still good you should be ok. An EXC is a little hardcore for this ride though. You might be bored. It's geared more towards 600 DS bikes and big adventure tourers, but there are some hero sections.
Beez, are you riding over or trailering?

I'm trailering. Will probably camp overnight in Tolland SF.
That must have been one of the Hero sections. Although there was so much rain at one point the main roads looked like that.

I'm very interested. I might have to bring the DRZ down for this, it looks like a blast.

Hi everyone,
I am a member of Berkshire Trail Riders and I am able to answer any questions you have about this event.
One very important thing is, if you want to pre-enter, please make your check payable to Berkshire Trail Riders Assoc.
I noticed one of you might be riding a 400 exc. This ride is not a NETRA Turkey Run. Bikes must be completely street legal, with brake lights, signal lights, d.o.t. tires, etc. I'm not sure if we're running a sound test, but we have the equipment to do so.

Will route sheets be available prior to the start of the event?

If only the new KLR was in the garage...
What's wrong with the WR450?

130 miles on the WR450? That would be fine as long as it ended at a HOSPITAL!
The WR is a great WOODS bike. The street legal portion is only to connect up trail sections. :-)
Come on now. This Husky is absolute torture compared to that plush WR. Get one of those beaded seat covers...![]()
If'n it's raining, I'll likely do the hare scramble instead, as Paige has no intention of getting rained upon.
