MotoTown riders....

Doesn't look good... Closed for the season? Is there a season for indoor MX?

Re: MotoTown riders....

It's not MX but I have a few miles of trails that I can share with one or two others.

Re: MotoTown riders....

I think that if you look at the business model the expenses are sky high and the income is not consistent. You can't get enough riders on it to pay for it.

The taxes and insurance alone are scary.

Re: MotoTown riders....

They've had financial troubles sence the day they opened.....of course when I posted the links to this info last year, I basically got attacked saying all the info was false I'm sure 2 fatal accidents in less than a months time last year didn't help things either.

Re: MotoTown riders....

I heard that they're investors backed out of the deal. It's been a pretty poorly run operation since the beginning.

Re: MotoTown riders....

As far as I know, the lawsuit from the steel company which framed the place still hasn't been settled.

A great idea, but it just wouldn't work.

Isn't someone else opening an indoor MX track in Mass?

That doesnt sound like a good combo to have. Too bad it closed. Places to ride off road are getting more limited each year around here.
