not many pics (and ignore the yellow splotches), but still good times
Carlton, Eddie, Bruce, James, and myself hit the state-legal trails in Franklin, MA.
Stopping after a hill:
Now, this hill was pretty steep (when you look from below) and had a lot of sand, so a few people got stuck.
Having already been up the hill once, Bruce decided to show everyone how it's done on his '97 CR250.
Here's him starting off:
Here's him getting stuck:
And here's him trying to get the bike back down the hill after stalling![]()
No biggie though...he then powered his way up the harder section
Eddie tried soon thereafter...and wheelied his way up...then stalled
Then powered his way up all the way to the top
All in all, it was a fun day of riding.
The RM125 did alright, but I can see how it's running rich, doesn't idle (pending a carb cleaning), needs rear brakes for those steep downhill coasts and doesn't have a woods suspension.
aaaand I'm definitely a slow poke
Eddie let me try out his woods weapon with a GMD setup suspension, and it sure was nice! Thanks Eddie
And proof that you CAN fit 2 dirt bikes in the back of a compact pickup:
Thanks for looking![]()

GMD does dirt bikes, too? Awww shit... I've been trying to get my KX set up decent. It has fully adjustable everything, I just don't really know how to adjust it, it seems.
Also, looks like fun.
good pics! i like that CR250R![]()

I didn't even realize you worked for GMD. You guys are getting the forks & Penski off my race bike this winter. Maybe I should send the dirty ride in as well.
I'd like to come out, but don't really ride in MA, Franklin is far, and I'd have to MA register and all that. You ever ride NH?
