I gotta bring it back

There's a problem with the transmission on my 450 so i guess i have to bring it back for some warenty work The shift lever doesn't return to the proper possition to make the next shift, it happens say 1 out of 5 shifts, mostly from 1st to 2nd and 4th to 5th.

Another quality GYT-R product has let me down as well Swing arm disc and chain skid plate, real crappy design and it only lasted 2 rides before it damaged my brake disc and the chain
Yamaha customer service will be getting a call tomorrow

Gotta love quick service, it's being rushed in for surgery september 19th They seem to think it's something minor like a shift return spring or something but from what i've read here i think it's a bit more serious than that.
Hmmm Maybe i'll finally get some street miles on this year?

Good thinking, then you can pay for that "warranty work" out of pocket instead.

I'm without my dirty toy

I dropped the 450 off at the dealer today Looks like no riding for me for at least a week (so they say)
I have a feeling they won't be able to get it to do what i'm complaining about as you have to ride it for it to happen, i'm hoping it doesn't turn into a hassle

Whelp, i got back a little while from the dealer to pick up my quad. Yamaha only authorized them to take the side cover off and polish some shift rods or something Anyway, i took it for a ride up the road and it "seems" fine. I think i have to ride it for a day and get everything up to temp before i can say for sure. It does have some shift feel now and is a bit notchy..
Unfortunatly it'll be another week and 2 days before i can take it out for a day
