I just got a track only 636 for cheap. It still has all it's street bits and they are in great shape. I'd like to sell/trade the street bits off this bike and transition to a more track orientated bike. The bike is 99% stock and has never been down.

Things I'd like to sell or trade for track stuff:

OEM Plastics (Silver) and in great shape. Has some stickers on it (marine corps, joe rocket, etc...) that would be easily removed.
Headlights
Tail Lights
Passenger pegs
passenger seat
passenger seat cowl/cover
mirrors
stock exhaust

What I'd like:

aftermarket exhaust in decent shape
Woodcraft rearset's - don't care what they look like as long as they are whole and function 100%
track plastics in good shape
Woodcraft frame sliders

everything is negotiable and open to offers that benefit the both of us. I can get pics on request.

Picked this up in late October last year, and quickly realized it's just not the bike for me. Bike is as good as new, the only modification I've done is raising up the license plate bracket and removing the stock large plate light and replacing it with a small strip of led's. Bike has a whopping 37 miles on it, not even a whole gallon of gas through it. Looking at KBB it lists the used value of $6500 with up to 5850 miles and in excellent condition. I don't think they come in any more excellent condition with lower miles than this. Bike has been cleaned more than ridden and stored in a garage with a cover on it since purchase. The bike is bank owned and having done this before, it isn't too bad. What was done before is I was paid when I delivered the bike with a bill of sale and promissory note to the buyer and keys handed over along with all ownership paperwork. I then paid the bill and was sent the title within a couple weeks, which I delivered to the buyer. Due to the bank owning it, and tired of having it just sit, I'm asking $7500. I'm able to show the bike sun, mon, wed, and thurs in Oxford, MA. Also able to deliver or meet somewhere with it if need be. Feel free to pm me with any questions or anything else. Pics may show a front handlebar bag which is not included with purchase. Thanks for looking!
-Bryan
Kawasaki's site for the bike:
How she sits now:

My V-Strom just about left me stranded today. I was headed home, trying to remember the route Stonky showed me, got lost, wound up near the Rockingham Mall?!? Decided to B-line it home on 93 and 101. Needed fuel, wound up in Raymond. Decided to take 156 up past Pawtuckaway. Got stuck behind some slow-pokes.. Dirt road up on the right.. should I? Yeeeeah, I should. Made the turn to loop back to 152 without a care. Man, this shit is fun.

BAM! A rock flew up and hit something underneath. Suddenly the engine was off and the "FI" light was on. Will not restart.

Fuuuuuuck. Did I just bust the oil filter and loose all my oil? Oil pan?

Stop the bike. No oil trail. No signs of damage.. whatever. Back on. Neutral, thumb the starter.. she runs, everything looks and sounds good. Party on I suppose.

Drop it in gear and the engine quits. Huh? 5 more iterations of the same and it is starting to sink in; I just broke that stupid switch that kills the engine if the side stand is down.

Oookay. Stop everything. Strip out of the 'stich. Loose the helmet and dig out the tool kit. 10 people drive past me (yes, even on those dirt roads out in the middle of nowhere). One dude.. yes, one guy stops and offers help. Fuckers. Nice dude points down a dirt drive and says "the house is that'away, 'mon up if you can't get it goin' and need to call sumbudy". Thanks boss.

Tinker with it for a few minutes and no dice. Eff it, let's just cut this dumbass thing off and twist the wires together.

Wait.. where's my knife? What dumbass packs a tool kit with everything from rubber gloves to fuses to electrical tape yet doesn't throw a damned knife in the bag!

Now suddenly there's nobody anywhere to be seen. I have half a bar of cell service and use it to call my old man. Interrupted his afternoon cocktail hour.. but he makes it out there and we fix it with a $5 pocket knife.

My motorcycle now has a shunted kickstand kill switch. If you see me getting ready to ride off with the stand down, please say something.

In related news, pushing a nearly 500 pound motorcycle with a fucked up shoulder isn't fun. Why was I pushing it? Because I couldn't figure out what the name of the road was and pushed the damned thing back out to the state highway so pops could see me.

Here's what's off of the bike at the moment. I have receipts for a lot of it. Pics will be available in a day or two. Buyer pays shipping unless local. Can meet in Woburn or Maynard. I low sided it to the right so some of the stuff is scuffed or ground down (noted).

M4 Full System (Stainless) - Some scuffs but solid. All parts are there. $250
Scott's Damper w/mounts for a naked SV - $225
No-name clipons (work with Woodcraft bars) and a scuffed (but functional) spare. Little bit of damage from crash. $50
AxlJak Frame Sliders - One slider is a little bit ground down. $25
Sonic Springs .90 - Nearly new - $60
Race Tech springs 1.0 - $50
Race Tech emulators - $75
Rear Spring - 700lb/in - $50
Radiator - some fins bent but decent otherwise - $75
Rain tires and wheels - Bought the rubber (lightly used) from Degsy about 2 years ago, and it's sat in my basement since; includes rotors and drive (full package!) - $300
Seat (flattened slightly for track use) - $25
Woodcraft rearsets - standard height, with pedals - slight bend in brake pedal yoke where brake M/C attaches - works fine. In good shape otherwise. $125
subframe - $75
Fuel tank, petcock, ProTek keyless gas cap. Has some sort of slightly textured black paint. Has Stomp Grips. Dented and scraped on right side. $175
Wheels, rotors, drive. Have DOT track rubber but they're probably no good (7-8 trackdays on them). Would be a good rain set for someone. $175
Front brakes, stainless lines, nearly new Vesrah RJL pads - $100
Sharkskinz fairings with Zero Gravity windscreen - some scuffs and repairs but will clean up fine - $200
Voltage Regulator - $50
R6 Throttle Tube (1/5 turn) - $10
GP Tech fairing bracket (replaceable ears) - $75

Please PM.

Can anybody tell me how to register an ATV in NH? My wife and I live in MA, and would like to try to do some riding in NH this summer, and we would like to register our machines *before* we arrive there, so that we do not have to spend time running around trying to get it done when we get there. Can this be done through the mail, or over the web? We are hoping that the NH system is not as convoluted as the MA system...We are trying to avoid having to drive into a NH city to obtain the registrations.
We currently have 2 machines - 1 bought new (MA sales tax paid at time of purchase), and 1 bought used (nothing paid yet).
Is it helpful to have them registered in MA first? Will we have to pay sales tax in both states? Are the registrations only available at a NH RMV? or are they available elsewhere (like Fishing licenses)?

It looks like I will be purchasing a Ninja 250 on Monday as a private sale. The guy has the title clean and I'll be paying cash for the bike. Does anyone have any suggestions on a contract to sign to prove purchase beyond the signing over of the title? Any advice for a private sale would be welcome as I have never purchased a motorcycle before and never purchased a vehicle private sale. So suggestions welcome and if anyone has a good contract to use I'd appreciate it. I'm searching the interwebs for a common form to use, but would love some thoughts from those who have had experience before. Thank you!!

First and foremost full disclosure on the lights, they are not inspectable. Just bought a week ago with my very limited Motorcycle budget and the 40 plus year rider finds out that aftermarket lights are a no-no. Who knew, probably everyone but me including the nice? young gentleman that sold it to me. So I'm now the proud owner of bike I can't get a sticker for in it's current state. So it's has 31k on it new tires,a Two Brothers full exhaust, oil , filter, drive gear good, starts, stops, shifts and runs as a Honda should. With my previous twin experience,36k on a 2nd gen. Tuono, I can say this bike pulls very strong. The aforementioned led lights all work, integrated smoked tailight and HID headlight. Fix it, run it as is, track it, my loss your gain. 1800 cash only. Title when I get it from NH.

FS: 1992 John Deere F525 ~Zero Turn Mower - $950 OBO

The Good:

Bought this mower off gamorg02 here on NESR last May, put 25hrs on it along with a handful of routine maintenance and cleanup.

The Good:
Good overall condition, everything works, 799 hours on the meter (fairly low for these), Kawi 17hp motor runs great, nice early zero turn w/ steering wheel so maneuvers are quick + easy, garaged and well cared for, tune up last season (new: fuel filter, air filter, oil filter, oil, belts, blades, plug + greased all zerks). Comes with 48" deck, deck pulley covers, JD PowerFlow bagging system, 2 new spare belts, mulching cover, owners manual.

The Bad:
Plastics have a few cracks, the seat has a few tears, may need a rear tire soon, PowerFlow could use some grease and a new belt, the jacksheave pulley isn't completely level anymore ($125 part) but works fine with one caveat... If you set the mower as high as it will go and use it over terrain with deep dips, this can put pressure on the primary belt since the entire deck floats out front. Non issue otherwise. Might even be able to shim the jacksheave.

I've seen these up for sale in good condition from ~$1100 - $2800. Offering up here for $950 OBO.

There's a POS F525 on Hartford CraigsList right now for $800 for parts or a project so I think I'm in the ballpark. Flexible on price, I'd like it gone, it's just a spare mower at this point, bought a larger zero turn a few weeks ago.

Machine is located in central MA near Mt Wachusett. Pickup only. I have no way to transport the machine.

Just the cliffs (except the endurance race), not feeling the need to write a long report.

GTL: 8th of 17 starters, best lap; 1:18.936.

LWSB Endurance: 3rd in class and 7th overall of 12? starters. The best part of the race weekend. I tacked into RSP racing's team, since Billy Cool had an unfortunate break in his ankle. I got out when it started raining and tip-toed on slicks for a few laps, until the ground dried out, then I dropped times and got into the 24's on a borrowed bike. It was a great time with some great people. Thanks to Michael again for allowing us to use his bike, and to Kurtz and Savvas for running great laps. We came back strong after Michael's off on lap 4. We had an awesome pit crew (Brian, Heath, Eric, Mike, and Josh) and they got the left rearset and clutch lever changed out inside of 15 minutes.

LWGP: After the worst start in my expert "career" (I stalled it on the 2nd reg flag restart), 10th of 24 starters, best lap; 1:21.020.

LWSB: Another horrid start, 10th of 18 starters, best lap; 1:20.425.

To sum up: My starts suck. I need to spend time during practice working on them. Once I get there and up to speed, I can do quite well. But I need to start at the front of the pack.

Thanks to Annalisa, my teammates, friends, and sponsors for a decent round. At least I finished my races.

As with last year, Annalisa donned her miniskirt, as did Jackie. Jake got his own hottie. Here are this year's umbrella girl pics:

I know seeking advice for anything on NESR is ill advised, but I'll take my chances on this. Basically I bought a new trailer and my current ride doesn't really like it. The trailer I a 6x10 enclose aluminum. Loaded up with tools and 2 bikes it sits at a heavy estimate of 3000lbs. My current ride is a 2003 BMW x5 3.0 with 135k. Basically it does alright for short trips and I'm comfortable towing to and from NH, but, the wind resistance after 55 really drags down the little 6 cylinder. It's constantly downshifting on the highway up any grade. Anyway the problem isn't with going up to NH. I'd like to be comfortable traveling to virginia, Ohio, NJ without worry in comfort and I can't see myself doing it with the current ride.

I'd like tow stay in a small SUV. The easy choice is to upgrade to a V8 x5 and call it good. But, if I'm getting a new car I have to explore some other options. Anyway my requirements include a v8 (I know a lot of newer 6cyls har a lot of power but I don't want to wish I had a v8) leather, comfort for 4 adults/ four doors and a car like ride. The car will get used as a second vehicle for the mrs and I and on trips with freinds and family for skiing and vacations and the like. I'd like to avoid full size American trucks/ SUVs because I use trucks all the time at work and I can't stand driving them.

Here is what pops into my head. Newer v8 x5, Range rover, ml55, trailblazer ss, hemi grand Cherokee, Toyota tundra. My budget is 25k for a killer deal, but I'd like to stay around 15k. They goal is a comfortable, reliable, multipurpose tow machine.

I found the funk!!!

Back into the low twenties. Finally got my speed back on Sunday.

The Classic this year started late. We did not arrive until Friday evening. Boo.

One race on Saturday. The LWGP with its large grid...

The day started rough. I headed down hot pit for first practice and the bike quit at the end of pit road. Hmmm. Restart. Quit at T2. Restart. Quite at T3. Restart quite in garage area... Push back to garage... WTF.

With the help of Tony and Sheppo I dig in looking for a reason for the FI flasing on my dash....

Nothing obvious to me. All connections are good.
The bike refires and seems to run ok. I do some laps in the infield and all is good.. I thought.. Practice two. I start the bike and put my helmet on only to turn around to find the bike off again. WTF.:madfrown:

I am at a loss. I head out to find someone that knows Gen2 SVs. I find Scotty Mullin in his shiny green cast. He is the nicest guy and hops on his Golf Cart and comes right over to help. He is smart enough to know it is probably the Tip over sensor and knows what one looks like... Lol.

In about one minute he finds it and shows me that it is off it's mount. Put it back and the bike is happy. Scotty saves the day.. I can't thank him enough..:shredder:

LWGP was a good time. I started 4A.. Boo. I like the outside better... I run this race and have a race long slug fest with a few other riders. It was great to have some real close racing. I finished 13 of 26.. It was a great time. Still not happy about running 1:23s but I had a blast racing with BJ and others.

Sunday. Practice went OK. Practice one was a nice warm up. Practice two was not pleasant. I saw a wreck that was not pleasant... I pulled in after 2 laps.

LWSS. Again I have a race long battle back and forth with a bunch of other mid pack dudes and smile all the way to the garage.. That was fun. I forget the particulars other than following Kurtz to the finish line... P10. Best lap a 1:22.5

Old Guys on Small Bikes.. I spent a good chunk of the race battling with some other old guy on a Monster. That was a great time. I love close races. I even more loved that I spent most of the race in the 1:20 range. With my best 1:20.4 Just .7 off my PB..

I am thrilled with the great racing and good times. The fact that I got my funk back is even better. I spent two days at TTD after the race and I think I found the secret to getting back into the 19s or better. ;)

Thanks so much to my awesome family. Without Wendy and Emma I would not be racing.

I need to thank Woodcraft and MTAG Pirelli for the great support!!!

See you dudes and dudetts in July.

Hey all, don't really post much here, but always trolling and though maybe someone could help me out. Long story short, sold my ninja 650r to free up some debt when I bought my house a few years ago. Time went by, got married, and all my riding buddies went to cruisers. Picked up a cruiser in October of 12, after maybe listening to the friends and the wife instead of my own desires. I've put a whopping 40 miles on the thing and don't find it enjoyable whatsoever. It is good for longer distances and highway/backroad cruising, but not an ideal commuter/around town bike. I've decided I want to get rid of it and buy something a little smaller. I've been debating between some upright sport-style bikes like the versus and Hondas new 700x, or a thumper like the kdx650, BMW 800, and bikes of the like. My commute is half highway half Worcester streets and only about 25-30 miles round trip. I like the idea of a big dirt bike for fire roads/gravel and fully understand that those piggies don't do either fantastically, but it'll get you there. Just looking for opinions from people who may have ever been in this kind of predicament.
Thanks in advance!
-bryan

Woooohooo.....another great race weekend. A big Thank You to all my sponsors and support of track time to practice with http://bostonmoto.com. I have my usual three races and with the classic as the Big race of the weekend I knew it would be a dog fight but still always fun.

MW GP Race was the classic and I actually did well in practice was feeling rather fast and on track...got a ok hole shot and fell in to the pack. Race was long laps were fast and there was some real tight passes being made. I was battling with another rider and had one hot on my tail but I think one had a crash or fell off pace but shook one. Three laps to go or around there I got hit real hard from the right side in 11. He made the pass and then I wicked it up caught him in the bowl and passed him. Went around to 11 again and put too much bar input in and out rode the tire and washed it out. Was pissed and tried to get back but my peg had clipped the curb and bent all the forward and was not able to shift. I was able to go over what happened with Shane’s Dad and he gave me a ton of good info and help as to why it happened and what I did wrong Thank You....but I did run a New PB of 1:17.09 so I was very stoked and happy for that. Lots of work went into that and it paid off or close to it…

Sunday

First race was good no incidents or crashes but had what I thought was 2 guys that we close and had them in 3 and got swooped on the inside by a third and dropped a few places so that was so good but finished strong and on two wheels and had fun.

Last race there was some weather moving in and we knew it would be close to race time for some rain and all that fell was a few random drops and didn't really affect the race surface. Got a good hole shot for mid pack and just rode a smart consistent race. Lost a place or two and finished on two wheels and was happy for the checkered flag.

All in all it was a real good weekend as it is always at the track with great people and my race family....always a fun time in 9N..

I would like to say Thank You to my Fiancé and friends for the support and help. Also to my pit mates in 9-10N as I couldn’t have done it without the help. Steve for bending my peg bracket back and making it usable again. All my sponsors and Boston Moto for tons of open track time to practice as needed and Dunlop tires support.

Thank You Very much and I truly appreciate it greatly...and thank you to my sponsors for the support….

I'm still rendering and uploading videos, but I'll start with the race I did the best in
Amateur Light Weight Super Sport

I did pretty well, I had a terrible start (again, something I used to be so good at, I'm struggling with) but managed to grab a bunch of spots into T1 and a few more passes brought me up to 3rd! I had a great time racing with the bigger ducs, and I didn't run off track (more on that later  )

Here is a link to my video of the race. I have a much higher quality one, but the GoPro 48 FPS video is absolutely ruined by youtube's transcoding, so if anyone on here is on the video and wants a good copy let me know.

Every weekend just keeps getting better n better at the track.
This time was incredible for sure!
Got there early Wednesday. All week i have been feeling off, i was not in the mood to do anything and was very down, so I made it up to the track to change the environment. I had picked up the Hawk from GMD tuesday and I had some work to do it in order to put it together.
So i get there I saw Kurtz (first of course) and Tony at the infamous Pirelli Garage. Unload everything and we catch up a little bit.
School/Practice is over and it is time for the first drinks and work on the bike.
More people start arriving at the track and stopping by to say hi.
Bike is finally done and we are all just relaxing having some drinks.

Thursday seems cloudy, I am haning out with Kurtz and Tony helping as much as I can or bother them as much as I can in some cases.
around 12pm Mike and I check the weather and we see that it is not supposed to rain until 230pm.
SO i decide to go do practice. go pay my $120 as a good boy and as I am walking back to the garage it starts raining.
BUMMER!
Now this is the first time I am riding the bike with a refreshed front end and a brand new suspension, compltely changed geometry, so it feels like a whole different bike.
I dont want to go ride in the rain, but Mike convinces me its a good practice, I am going to learn a lot and I will eventually have to deal with at some point anyways. so we put rains on my bike and out I go... well not for too long as from Pit Out into T6 I am already on the ground sliding towards the gravel. I am fine, bike is scratched up. I ride it back to the pits with a broken clutch lever. I am pretty bumped but happy I am not hurt and the bike isnt pretty but functional. Mike gives me his spare clutch lever and again convicnes me its a good idea to go out again. I go out much more careful. I complete a lap getting a bit more comfortable, trying to be smoother, compelte a second lap and I want to see if I can keep doing this. well T9 had different plans for me. I tip in early, start going wide and try to tip in again, yeah right... My ass is on the ground the bike is sliding towards the airfence which I tested and it works fine. Corner workers help me get to the 3-10 split and check on me. Bike is a bit rougher than last time and mike's clutch lever is somewere in the grass. AWESOME! NOT!
back at the garage, relaxing, getting out of the gear and breathing. at this point I am seriously upset, I dont even want to race any more. I am about to pack and go home. Mike and Tony are being incredibly supportive, Christian and Jen as well via texts. I am convicned to at least stay the night and if I still want to leave in the morning then so be it.
Mike W pulls in some time soon and his bike was a bit worse than mine and that was the bike we were planning on racing for the endurance race on friday. So what the hell let's start working on some bikes and get ready for racing. TONY was amazing. I learn a lot next to him every weekend and he has great advice for me all the time. we put my bike together, bleed brakes, change brake fluid and some other minor stuff and the bike seems 100%. NOT ONE CHANCE this would be possible without Tony, Josh, Eric, Mike K, Mike W, pretty much G1-G2 guys.
at some point late at night both the Hawk and the SV are good to go and now we are discussing strategy for the endurance race, which of course we got a team together the very last minute, because thats how we do things!

Friday:
I got up a bit later than i wanted and of course missed first practice. 2nd practice I take Mike W's SV out since I will be riding it for the endurance race and not only I havent ridden his bike before, I have never ridden an SV before. His bike is way different than i expected and his brakes are UNREAL. I am excited though because it is very forgiving and gives great feedback. I sign up for the GTL race (taking Kurtz's advice once again). So here we are. My first AM race, my first long race (GTL), on my first time on my bike which doesnt feel like my bike. this is going to be fun.
I am gridded DEAD LAST out of 15 riders.. First AM race and I registered right before rider's meeting so theres no surprise part there.
we start I wheelie the fuck out of the hawk, put it back down and go into 1 horrible. I make my way through some people and red flag.
Back at the pit and they tell me now I am starting 7th! Alright lets try this one more time then. we go back out, wave one goes we are about to start and another red flag. they sent us back in! my awesome pit crew comes with umrella, water, wet towels and back out we go :)
start #2 1/2 took off as good as a hawk can launch pretty much - i look to my left and John (trouble) didnt have a good start, at this point in my head I need to stay ahead of him as much as I can and maybe get a tow from him which would be a podium. I go into 1 first, bikes are all over the place, I am holding my spot for John to come around in 3 and pass and another bike spooked me as I was tipping in so I ran wide. By T9 I cant even see John any more. I am turning decent laps but I am getting tired. Start dropping spots and the last 3 laps I am battling with Doug back and fourth, I usually pass him in 3 and 9 and he repasses me in 6 and 1. I guess he had it in him more than I did he passes me into the bowl on the last lap, I almost had him back in 9 but ran to wide and I settle for 5th. Come back to a new PB. of 1.24.90x
Endurance Race! thats the shit we were all waiting for. I am still upset that our team name wasnt FSU (fuck shit up) but according to mike I fucked enough shit up so we did not need the name any more. So RSP Mike K + Mike W + ECK Chuck + Olympus Racing Me. here we go in the class that had the most entries. for the record I did suggest to run P89 or UL so we can guarantee first LOL.
anyways. Mike W goes out first, running faster than he was in GTL (lol) and on lap 5(?) he goes down, comes back in he is fine, which is the only thing we cared about anywas. Our AMAZING pit crew gets the bike ready and Mike goes back out. He is doing amazing job closing the gap and we start making up the lost ground. Comes back in and it is my turn. I go out and I am loving the feeling I get from the bike. Lap after I lap I drop my times and the wave me in, I feel I have energy to go few more laps but I decide to give the bike to the faster riders. Back in I go and Mike jumps on the bike and off he goes. He starts turning some real good laps and the gap is getting smaller and smaller. In the mean time we hear on the radio that I have to go back out cause I did not complete 30 minutes I did 29:33.... Oh well I wanted to ride anyways. I am getting my rest on, mike comes in chuck goes out and it starts raining... Now I dont want to ride any more. We are discussing possible strategies, Maybe I go out for only one lap and Mike W will go out again, a lot of possible scenarios. Rain stops and Chuck starts dropping his times lap after a lap. We call him in and I and Mike W split the rest of the remaining time to finish 3rd in our class! what an awesome experience. I havent had so much fun before. the whole idea coming in people holding the bike, getting off, swapping riders, refueling was just amazing!
I cant thank these guys enough for being part of this. I loved every second of it!
Huge thanks to SmokeShack for the free food during Friday evening

Saturday: after cuddling in the ambulance with Christian and winning Light Weight Blackout Drinking with Mike I got up around 830-9am. Missed first practice went out for second. turned a few 25s but mostly 27s. two races planned for saturday but Now I could start feeling the crash on my right side and the exhaustion from the endurance race.
Race #5 P-89. Wheelied the start AGAIN! i think we restarted. Nothimg memorable of that race since we were only 3 bikes and we all had huge gaps from each other. John won, I came second, Alan 3rd.
I get no time to rest pretty much and off I go for race #7
Gridded dead last again. Great start and I go into T1 third. I get spooked running too wide and have every body pass me in 1A and 2. and yes I mean everybody! start making my way through traffic. passing few peeps here and there but I am getting tired already. last lap I see John and I am surprised to be thinking i caught up to him, turns out he was stuck at 5th gear. I pass him into 3 he passes me in 6 we battle it for the next few turns i almost crash into 11, we go on to the front straight, i draft and go on his left and we legit finish mili seconds apart for me to take 5th with best lap 1:25. Most upsetting part about this race was that I could have actually won it, according to lap times... oh well, thats racing right?

Trophies was a blast and then Cookouts and tons of laughts through the entire night. That was my favorite part of the weekend. realize all the great people I am blessed to have in my life. Seeing people with their wives and kids, friends, etc is just so great. so many laughs, so many stories. I cant describe in words how happy I was to be there. Around midnight we left the track and went go karting. that was just insane and an absolute BLAST! you all are amazing people and I mean it from the bottom of my heart.

Sunday: weather didnt look great and after talking to a lot of hawk guys on Saturday night I decided to stay and race. I was going to do LWSB but the weather seemed to be bad by the time this race would be up. so I signed up for Thunderbike instead. Tony told me to go out and make him proud... I tried but it didnt work out as I expected. Again though it was good to come back in the pits to a very positive atmosphere and the guys clapping and hugging me haha. i could have done much better. I wheelied the start AGAIN. passed a lot of people and battled it out with Samuel Witham - 215 until the end. I blew turn 10 and he passed me in 11 to win 3rd and me finish 4th. Great guy to battle with, we did clean passes and never spooked each other. and that was it. it was time to pack and be sad again for going back to real world.

Huge thanks to all my sponsors and the people who support me outside the track. Even bigger thanks to the people who support me @ the track even physically or over the phone. RSP guys and Tony I wouldnt be able to complete Round 1 without you guys, never mind be an AM on the podium lol. ECK guys and my cupcake Christian :) all the friends and people who showed up. Low Down Racing guys for watching over me and the advice, Gino for being Gino, Degsy and Chip for constantly advising and supporting me, Marco for the awesome pics. Corner workers and track stuff for helping with my bike and getting my shit back togehter. I know I am forgetting people but I am in a good amount of pain right now, you all know who you are no doubt. Thank you for another amazing weekend I will see you all in Round 4!!!

Please help get this bike out of my life. I bought it non running to fix and sell, long story short it still does not run right. I cleaned the carbs, new battery, plugs, cleaned out the fuel tank. Probably some other stuff I am blocking out of my memory. Oh, and I detailed it. I officially hate this bike.

It has 3k miles, looks really nice, clean MA title. It starts ok but bogs/dies when the throttle is turned. It needs someone with some more skill than me.

$1200 NESR special. Figure even if you pay someone to fix it you are still getting a decent deal. I thought about that route but I'm just pissed now and need it gone from my garage.

You may have seen my wr250 for sale here too, my goal is to fund something new. Current lust surrounds a 690 Duke. <img src="http://www.nestreetriders.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=34978&d=1371502442&thumb=1" border="0" alt="Click image for larger version.

*_Two Day School_*

Two Day School
We had a couple of great days at the track....the forecast was a bit sketchy but we ended up getting great weather all day Wednesday and most of the day Thursday. The students that we had this year were really good - riders were asking smart questions throughout the day and I saw some real progress with many, many riders. The bonus was all the smiling faces that we had. Schools like this are what make the teaching part of this job really worthwhile. I looked at photos from the track experience and Basic groups from day 1 to day 2 and saw a lot of improvements, and I know that many of the riders in our advanced course made breakthroughs to new lap time levels after being stuck on a plateau. Thanks to the help of John Grush and his son Tristan we were able to implement a new trackside video review element to the course that was very well received.

I want to thank not only all the students that came but also our outstanding staff of instructors who worked hard shared their time and knowledge all throughout the school. We're looking forward to next year already!

DRNE with Doug Chandler
DRNE is a track day for all brands of motorcycles with a Penguin twist. We have three groups of riders (two with no inside passing to make it more comfortable), all of which will not only have lots of track time but also the opportunity to get both classroom and 1 on 1 instruction. As an added bonus, we are bringing in 3 x AMA Superbike Champion and former MotoGp rider Doug Chandler. Doug is a world caliber rider, member of the AMA hall of fame and a super-personable motorcyclist. He will be working with all of our students during the course of the day.

Don't miss the opportunity to come out and ride, get some great instruction and rub elbows with a motorcycling icon! DRNE June 24
