Can't post in for sale thread?

Hi there- having issues putting some items up in the for sale section, anyone else having this problem? I click "new thread", page comes up saying I'm not authorized to post in the for sale section....even though my post count is more than sufficient and I posted in the for sale section only a couple of weeks ago someone help s'il vous plait?

But really, someone else mentioned they were having problems and Stoneman I believe acknowledged it.

We'll be making a formal announcement soon about this. But yes, we're trying it out: to start a thread in the FOR SALE section now, one must be a SITE SUPPORTER. We feel that as people are most likely making some money by posting their wares, it's not unreasonable to ask that they 'earn' that right. Christ, simply buying some stickers will cover you. This isn't a recurring requirement like many other sites. Make a small donation or buy something and you're set. A small price to pay for selling your merch here, I'd say...

And if we find people keep editing old posts because they only find NESR worthy of such crap, we'll be using the Miserable User function and/or banning. I just gotta find that damned lever!

The only downside to this is in a situation like mine, where my husband bought both of us NESR gear a while back, and he got the site supporter status and I didn't.....since it's our money and all, it just seems silly....

However, I do agree that supporting the site is only fair if you're asking the site to help support you....

Good point, Keira. Again, if ANYONE feels they should have the SITE SUPPORTER tag, by all means contact me. In your situation, you should definitely be upgraded. And I know there's a couple other couples as well that would fall into that catagory. But I need to be able to verify that...
