EDIT: never mind, it's actually kind of crappy.

The integration is capable of pushing content TO Facebook, but not the other way around. I've got it set up for login only, though.

The FB Connect button overlaps the NESR banner in the iPad.

    Just saying...

Some admins care about the aesthetics of their web sites. Does anyone actually still use IEx anymore?

Passive aggressive jabs aside, I'll probably scrap it anyway. Too many inconsistencies, doesn't tie into the mobile style, etc.

Aside for testing and mobile devices, I use IE exclusively. I eagerly await your condescending, elitist response.

Wasn't trying to be condescending. Why would I try to antagonize a forum admin? The clients I work with care about the positioning of everything on their web sites, so it's just force of habit.

About the browser shares, I was just stating a fact. From the W3Schools site:

2012 Internet Explorer Firefox Chrome Safari Opera
    December 14.7 % 31.1 % 46.9 % 4.2 % 2.1 %

Well they ARE kind of the foundation of browser elitism. For comparison, Nesr stats show the split almost evenly (min 20.5%, max 23.5%) across chrome, Firefox, safari, and ie.

Btw I wasn't saying you we're being condescending, just that I expected you would be after saying I use IE. There are two overwhelming constants in character among nesr members - conservative politics and religious love of alternate browsers, both of which have the tendency to get me into arguments.

Most of the clients I work with tend to develop now more for Firefox than for IE. Funny, since FF updates versions faster than most of the conservatives on here change their underwear.

I take it you shut this down? I noticed it when I was browsing at lunch today, I turned it on... couldn't tell what the upside was.

Basically just the ability to login using Facebook. One less login to remember for some people.

Actually I have no idea because the Tapatalk app doesn't report its own user agent to servers like browsers do. I might be able to pull some stats from the Tapatalk site though - if I can I'll post them.

Ok so Tapatalk has some stats but they're pretty vaugue and meaningless for comparison against Google Analytics.

I've been using Firefox strictly since 06? I usually go on here from my phone or iPad so that counts as safari I guess.
