What do the colors of the envelopes and shit mean when I click on 'new posts'?

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

Scroll to the bottom, there's a legend that covers that.

EDIT - ok not when you click new posts there isn't. Go into a forum and scroll to the bottom for the legend.

I wish the thread starter was under the title on the main page. I've always wished for that. It'd make me seem like a nicer person I'm sure. I'd avoid threads started by this buttwhipe, and that idiot, all together. And thus, make less negative comments.
    That possible?

Everything else is pretty good. Someday I'll figure out some of the more technical features.

Huh? Mine has always had "started by:" under every thread title and it still does.

This has always been possible, I just thought it made the front page too cluttered. I'll turn it on and see what you guys think.

Cool, the new portal version doesn't put the thread starter in its own column so it's not as cluttered.

Can you put the damned "mark forums read" back where it belongs? It's making me angry, and you won't like me when I'm angry.

Keep finding computers that have the old forum in their cache and haven't logged into this one yet.

Speaking of which, is it me, or does Google Chrome hate this site? I usually 'open in new tab' a bunch of sub'ed or unread threads at once, then read and close each 1-by-1. In Chrome half will take forever to load.. others never will.

I use that same method with Chrome and I haven't noticed any problems

Probably my connection then. Recently been indecisive as to Firefox vs Chrome. I swear Firefox views this site more reliably.

I am running Chrome on Windows 7 and the pages never take forever to load, although they are slow sometimes. Do you have too many other tabs open?

No. Typically 1-3 other tabs. Sometimes this'll happen on the first tab I open to the subscription page. Sometimes closing other tabs unfreeze the frozen ones.

Coming to the conclusion that this issue is 100% on my end. Either my connection, or my config.

i love google chrome. I typically have a minimum of 3-5 tabs going at the same time and often use it with upwards of 8-12 tabs at once with zero issues.

I could careless about how the site looks, I'm just glad Josh maintains it. I've been a member of this site since I was 15 and I stay around because of the community here, not the fancy upgrades. Thank you Josh
