    New picture auto-resizer

What's the maximum size of a picture before the site automatically reduces it? Is it 800x600?

I used to post a max size of 1024x768, because most modern monitors use at least that size. Now pictures of that size are auto-resized.

To change your own settings go to your options page.

The default is 800 to trigger a resize, but you can set it in your options if you'd like it bigger. If a monitor is 1024x768 and you post pics that are 1024x768 it will still cause the browser to widen and require lateral scrolling to see the whole pic.

True. I usually use 1280x1024 on the PC desktop & laptop and 1440x900 on the MacBook.

Anyway you can set it to whatever dimensions work for you, I just set it to 800 to be lower-res-friendly.

All set now, I set the MacBook to resize over 1280x1024.

Thanks. I'm sure more would definitely want to know about this as well. It's located in the User CP under Edit Options.

I had planned on posting something about it but I'm lazy. Thanks for taking care of it!

You knew one of us anal-retentive all-day posters would ask sooner or later.
