Just saw this thread, figured its as good a place as any to introduce myself.

I'm Adam, I'm 22, live in Boston, and I bought into the hype at beginnerbikers.com and bought a 2004 Ninja 250 last year. I know its not the most stylish or powerful bike but I still love the thing. Looking forward to riding with some new people once temps climb above 40

ok, i posted about this some where else on here, but this is as good a time as any to bring it up again...

I now have a 2003 R1. the bike that i am *most* jealous of when i see out on the roads are Ninja Ex250's. my first bike was a beat to shit 1979 Honda CB750. it was a great bike to learn on, but was a but heavy and didn't have the handling that an Ex250 or 500 would. But i couldn't turn down the Honda for $250.00 bucks . Anyway, I'm really jealous of EX 250's because they are a bike that you can really tap into their full potential (which means they are a shitload of FUN). no one is ever going to *really* tap-out a moden 600cc+ bike on the street.

dont ever stress over having a "small" bike. any real rider will give you crazy props for going about learning to ride the safe and sane way which dosn't involved putting your ego in a new Haybayasu just to be cool. a good rider on a smaller bike will smoke a less skilled rider on a "flashy" bike any day of the week.

so anyway, i'm just rambling...welcome to messy world of NESR and look out for that wing-nut Nikon.
