To bad your bike wasn't closer maybe we could have traded bikes while we are both away. But then again I don't even want to drive a car in Riyadh, never mind a bike..... I need a BMW GS here, and will stay in the dessert away from most of the idiots....

hey guyz.......

after a hunt of 10days, I finally bought a bike. Its a 1988 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-750R ....

(my first ever experience of riding a bike in the US....was on the interstate and on a rainy day.....i had to ride the bike home from Brockton on 6th of April )

i got it for about 1200bucks......bike's good....has new tires...new chain set and everything seems fine. Have been riding it for a coupla days now, daily to work and home. Took me a week to get it registered, titled and then inspected. Finally...its totally road legal. Had to buy a new battery. Has a problem with the accelerator/throttle jamming...have to figure it out next.

And everybody here, thanks a ton for your inputs and advice, especially slammp....have been bugging him for a while now over this deal.

Hoping to join one of your g2g a.k.a get-together... soon.
