Plus the money spent on training transfers to any bike you throw a leg over

The 8 year old 600 supersport I have that I'm trying to sell is almost completely stock... yet when I'm at a track day I have absolutely no issues keeping up with 1000's (until they get to the straightaway)... and it's not because of the power, I just know how to get more out of it.

In the end, it's your money, you're welcome to do with it what ya want & new pipes are cool, but honestly, your money's better spent on YOU right now rather than the bike.

Hope it works out for ya & welcome to the sport
    Well Pete...

The good news is that I agree with you completely....you're right on!

The bad news is that I agree with you completely...which is odd since you are too young to be an old faht like me!!!

it's not the old faht that thinks this way... it's the sensible one

Think about it this way, guys.... MINIMUM 250 bucks for a exhaust pipe that only works on one bike, or 250 bucks for a track day that'll teach you more about riding than over a years worth of street riding.

Now if ya got 500 bucks to spend, then get both But if you've got a limited budget, well then... whatever floats yer boat. Easy choice for me.

    Plus 100000

I have a hole shot jet kit, pods, AIS removal kit, and timing advancer. Just need to order my headers

You can also call Dale on the phone for any tec support. How many times has ANYONE called Mr. Yoshimura for advice?

    Re: Brand New to riding

I actually took the MSF course over the summer which was cool. That's how i got my license.

As far as me being loaded or not, it's neglegible... i spend my money when i want to and save pretty well. But i didnt buy a busa because i value my life. Maybe once i get some more riding under my belt i'll get a busa hahaha. Negative.... I actually have my eyes on an R6 or GSXR 600 for my next bike.

But as far as my gym shorts and t shirt riding gear... thats how i roll.. because i'm 19 and i definately cant get hurt... so i should probably get the busa right? I DEFINATELY need to goo 200MPH right out of the show room...

I like how i started this huge debate. I just asked about some pipes haha

There is no debate. Noone has disagreed with anything regarding safety or track days.

... but if one had to make a choice...... well then....
(that was the point I was tryin to make... if he had to choose between one or the other... Sorry if it sounded like I'm anti exhaust. I'm not... I just don't think it's a priority)
