    Dad & Son Duc's

    My son and I started a new chapter in our motorcycle pursuits and picked up a couple Ducati Monsters this year.

    His first street bike @ 18 (aside from the DRZ 400 we made street legal) and my...huh, lost track now - lol
    Anyway, we plan on doing track days and having a blast with these bikes.
    We're in central VT (Barre/Mont area) and think it would be great to meet n ride with some new people in the area, be great if some could chime in here...

    My son found a pretty sweet 2011 796 Monster in black with only 3500 miles on it and pops went new with a 2015 821 in white.

    So there's our short intro, wanted to say hey and that we're looking forward to being part of the community.

    Welcome

    Checkout Fishtail when you start looking into trackdays. Good group and lots of Ducatis. A lot of other guys here do other trackdays and like them too so you can't really go too far wrong.

    Signed up for the May 9th TD with Cyclewise & Penguin, unfortunately my son has a math final that day so it looks like I'll be running down solo.
    I have a 14ft enclosed and would be happy to share space if anyone in this area wants to head down.

    The kids bike is what I consider to be a 'good' craigslist find, clean, low mileage and unmolested!

    Being larger in some areas... dad went for the roomier 821

    We geared up as much as possible being still able to move and took a fairly short but ever sweet first ride together on the Duc's, pretty awesome to see him in the rear view but I'm thinkin' that's gonna be short lived.
