Evening all,
My name is Clive and just moved back to NH after 14 years in Oregon. Had a 2003 ZRX1200 which I sold before moving back, now I’m trying to decide what to get next. Ducati Monster, Triumph Speed Triple are in the running, just can’t make up my mind yet. Loved the ZRX, but wanted something on the lighter side. Also have a 1975 GT550 and 1977 XS650 that are works in progress, probably will still be works in progress when I die.
While out West I was a regular spectator at the races at Portland International Raceway, last Saturday was my first visit to NHMS to see the LRRS races. First impressions were, great track, way way more racers. At PIR some classes had only 6-8 bikes, the first race at NHMS I counted 40. Loved the pit area, you guys get garages !!!!!!!!!!!!! Very nice people, all willing to talk shop, and didn’t mind me drooling over their bikes. Only negative I have is the lack of spots to watch the race from, I only found 2, did I miss some ? At PIR you can walk around the whole track and find bleachers at almost every corner.
