Welcome! Love the Vespa too. I'd love to have one of them in the garage!

    I'm just near Nashua.

It hit 42 today so i through on 9 layers and I took the ninja out for the first ride... Just a short one. Stupid cold fingers. Keep in mind that all I have to compare to is the Hyosung, so here's what I noticed: first, the sight picture/riding position was comfortable. Not overly aggressive, and I felt that i was sitting up higher (in terms of seat height) than on the hyo. This appeared to give me better field of view. The throttle was smoother and more responsive, and I definitely noticed better handling. We didn't do anything too fast or twisty, I just wanted to get a feel for it. Shifting was more positive, the clutch was easy to manipulate and I didn't have any trouble getting through the gears.

I'm not sure if any of that means anything, but so far I like it a lot. It's a vast improvement on what I had going before.

I'd like to see the 300 up close too, w/o having to go to a dealership.
Been spending too much "time" in European dealerships.

Welcome! I love the white! I'm also very curious to know how that 300 is. I think it's an awesome looking bike, and I really feel like it would be an awesome way to have fun, but not fast enough to get in too much trouble. I'd love to ride one some day!

    This

I've never heard a 250 owner say they weren't tons of fun and e30 never had a problem on street rides with bigger bikes.

    Re: Another FNG

I've put a few more miles on it this week, and it's definitely a blast to ride. There are a few twisty(ish) roads right around here and it's noticeably more responsive than what I'm used to. I just need to get more than 30 minutes on it without my fingers freezing off.

Once it warms up a bit I wouldn't mind hooking up and saying hey. It would be good to get to know some more people that ride.

I want to see that bike up close. Despite all the big displacement bikes I've owned, my Ninja 250 will always hold a special place in my heart...it was an absolute blast.
