My class had about 10 people in it and there was only 2 girls but we never did this partner thing either, I missed out! But I have friends that never took the course and failed their first time going to get their license. I think it is just way easier to do the course then get your license right from there. It is really initimidating at first but you quickly get over it. Plus my instructors were great and one was a girl so that was definitely helpful!

Yah and actually in my class, only one person failed and it was a guy. There were some parts of the class that were really hard with 10 people in it because a lot of the older guys in the class were going ridiculously slow so that made the stop and go part of the test where we had to hover with the clutch drawn in difficult but other than that it was great. I switched classes because the first one I was in I went to the range day and the instructor was a complete ass and I swear did not like girls at all and because of that I was too nervous to ride with him. What do you know I switched classes and scored in the top of the class. Where did you go? I went to Cycles 128 and I would reccommend it as long as you don't get the instructor I got the first time around.

are you on facebook? my friend's girlfriend is organizing a small ride around MA, NH, and maybe VT on Saturday June 27th for her birthday. We're all in Boston or just outside. I'm leading apparenly, but they're pretty new to riding so it'll be pretty casual. send me a private message if interested.
