    @black....
    Right...but they make turbo kits for hyabusas...right??
    So i did it bc i could. And thats why I did a 600 and and not a 1000...you CAN ride it ALL day at less than 20 mph, play around on the trails in first three gears up to redline and not have some stroked out 450 thumper on 110 octane that overheats or has to be rebuilt every 100 hours...and still be able to whip it out and slap in on the table when that lil 450 or raptor 700 finds that straightaway...
    Stock wheelbase, stock A arms and width, not some dune racer. Runs fine thru all the trails in the national forests.
    (Would be nice to live in a state where quads are legal on highway...)
    Thats my $.02...

    Re: Hello and new to New England

    I've ridden a DS650 quite a bit. I really really really liked riding it. Damn thing was a couch but that motor made you smile all day long. Wasn't made to be a nimble mx machine, more of a dune machine that was more than capable of making up for its weight with pure balls. I think the inline 4 is well suited to that beast and that the chassis can easily handle it. I'd hit it.

    Thanks Jetta!!
    I agree. The 650 is a nice big chassis w plenty of travel..and 100 hp is nice to move the beast around. Added like 50+ lbs to bike, so not too bad.
    Im 250lbs...so im not exactly doing superman seat grabs on it in the dunes anyway LOL

    Moved up from New Orleans. Was there for 2 years. Charleston SC before that and Montana before that. Grew up and did most of my riding as a youth in Orlando FL tho.
