    Hello from the South Shore.

A current member told me to check out this forum. I ride a Triumph Tiger Explorer and I'm looking for people to ride with. I love doing big multiday camping trips around New England and exploring remote places and old dirt roads. As long as there's no ice on the road I'm good to ride. I've been up Mt. Washington, camped around the Whites and part of Maine. I'd like to ride up to Nova Scotia this summer, it sounds like a great motorcycle destination. Hopefully there are others on here with the same interests!

Welcome aboard! I'm on an older Tiger 900 in Quincy; always up for day rides or camping!

Another member here and I did Labrador, Newfoundland, and Nova Scotia last summer and had a blast; I definitely recommend Cape Breton as amazing riding and camping!

Hanson. There aren't many great roads around here for riding, at least not that I've found. I LOVE NH and ME though.

Did you do the Trans Labrador Highway? That's an adventure I'd like to do someday!

Nova Scotia has their own version of Bike Week. We were up mid-September a coupla years ago, and a quarter of that island was just bikes, bikes, bikes...

Holly crap! I think that's the perfect term for these things "multisport". The "adventure" tag has always kinda rubbed me wrong, especially when people complain that their owners use them 98% on road. "Multisport" works way better.

    Seriously, nice one man!

Yep! It's pretty much the only way from Quebec to Newfoundland unless you take a boat. Definitely an adventure: http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=823825

The wharf rat rally? That was going on when we were there too; probably 40-50 'hogs' came across on the ferry from Newfoundland with us:

Some cool, some stereotypical harley riders. We camped at Meat Cove, pretty much as far from the chrome and loud pipes as you could get...
