    Hello! Wilmington, MA checking in

    Hello all,

    Recently moved back from Houston to Wilmington MA and trying to get involved in some group rides/track days. Have been bike-less for about a year due to insurance costs down there and some other priorities. Been riding for about 6-7 years now. Picking up my newest bike this weekend and look forward to being back on two wheels, hope to ride with some of you soon.

    Have a K7 GSXR1000 awaiting my rescue in Connecticut. Just wrapping the details up. Assuming that's you in your avatar; haven't seen it around, which means I guess I'm not totally lost in my efforts to find some decent local guys to ride with. Group rides with guys doing 100mph highway wheelies in jean shorts and wife-beaters were getting old.

    Usually not available during the week but was hoping to get some nice group rides together when possible. Between western MA, NH, and VT there's plenty of options for day rides. Obviously down for the local groups too. Looking forward to it!

    There are a few rides posted on the Seacoast Sports Cycle events page at Event Calendar - Seacoast Sport Cycle

    There's also usually a thread posted on NESR, but I haven't noticed it yet this year.

    That should be a fun bike. Road with anybody when I first started riding, no matter the skill or attitude toward riding. Then almost getting rear-ended by inattentive riders a few times soured me on group rides for a while. Untill I did one of the seacoast cycle rides. Good group of guys riding respectable bikes in full gear. My cup of tea. And met some good guys that also ride track.

    Same Swizz, rode with guys I knew from HS, wont ever again. And yeah I'm looking forward to the 1k. Hoping to pick up another cbr600 this winter if the cards are right specifically for the track.
