I had the BT23 GT series on my last bike, FJR. For that bike they worked well, they are made for a heavier bike and wear well for that. The non-GT are pretty similar with less side wall strength and better ride, so I hear. I got about 8k miles out of them. I thought they handled well, when new the turn in was quick and that didn't diminish a lot over the life. Never had an issue of unnerving experiences.

Thanks Falko. I also have a 2006 zx636 im guessing that wouldn't be a good tire for that bike?

Overkill for the weight of that bike and probably wouldn't give you the grip or performance you would want.

For street use, BT023's are great... provide tons of grip and last a long while. Great in the rain, too. I've got 10k miles on them on my Fz6 and estimate I can almost double that (granted I mainly commute on that bike). I'd highly recommend the BT023 for your ZRX...and if your ZX6 is just ridden on the street, I'd highly recommend them for that too. You wont need the GT version for either bike.

Depends on how you plan to ride the 636. FWIW, I've been running Pirelli Angel ST's for the last 3 years on my CBR. Plenty of grip and I'm getting about 12k out of a rear and 20+k on the front.

I've got a set of Conti Road Attack's on my Rex and they wear like iron (except at track days). Good feel, good mileage.

Just picked up a set of 023's for the Guzzi. $224 for 120/180 set on ebay. Looks like Bridgestone is cancelling this nomenclature and going to the T30 series.
