    Hi! Newbie in Boston

    I just spent most of the (work)day reading this forum and thought I'd jump right in with a hello post!

    I bought my first motorcycle, a black 2002 Yamaha V-Star 650, about a month ago! It's a fully female owned bike... I'm the 4th woman to own it I've been doing some riding between Boston and Somerville where I'm somewhat familiar with the roads, but am going to start trying to ride to/from work and outside of the city soon... maybe tomorrow to work and definitely this weekend to one of those places near Boston I've never been to!

    I've been in Boston for 7 years, sold my car when I moved here and am thrilled to have transportation again!

    Not sure what else to mention. Just excited to be here and to be out riding!

    What neighborhood do you live in? A lot of bikes ride out to Castle Island in the evening, as it's nice and cool next to the ocean.
