MT-09 Rider in Portland, ME area!

Hey everyone. New to the forum, newish to Maine, and traded my Duke 690 for a brand new Yamaha MT-09.

Looking forward to some seat time, meeting other riders and hopefully some track days.

Hello, welcome. None of us actually have motorcycles anymore. Mostly just talk about snow tires, vans, and bicycles now.

We also like to plan for retirement and gang up on conservatives (other than guns laws).

I recently got a street motorcycle after many many years without one and remember they're actually a lot of fun on the street as long as you A) wear what you feel comfortable wearing, B) don't pretend you're at a race track, and C) live in a lane splitting state.

    That's all I got. Welcome.

Maine doesn’t need lane splitting: definitely the most courteous drivers in the Northeast.

OTOH we could use some of your weather if you’d care to send some over.

Except when they come down 95 and camp the left lane. It's relentless up here.
