    A Real Retread Here...

    I found this place thru Peter Kates @ Computrack in Bellingham,MA.

    Been riding since before I was old enough for a driver's license, which figures at a bit over 40 years!

    Currently there's a much altered 2000 Vulcan 1500 in the garage. It's what I've ridden for the last years.
    BUT I'm looking for a sportier stablemate for the big sled now (mid-life crisis?)

    Took a good highway toot on one of my brothers bikes on Saturday, a ZG1000 Concours... like a ballerina compared to my ponderous Kaw (cow?)
    Thinking a clean used VFR 750 or 800 would do me nicely!
    I'd like something I can eat miles on at speed and I'm open to suggestions... for a reasonable price of course.

    Hey welcome to NESR! If you're serious about the Retreads, my grandparents were really into that group and held annual meets at their place every year for a long time. It was awesome for me as a kid to hang out with all those people and all those bikes.

    Found this '96 VFR a few days after joining, I'm lovin' it!


    Got new stuff coming for it to suit my needs and tastes, lots of plans for mods, etc. to keep me busy over the winter.
    For now I'm just suiting up for the weather every decent day and heading out!
