New Rider here. Logged about 1k miles on my new bike so far.

Just purchased my first bike. '12 Bonneville SE. I desperately wanted an R6s but decided to go the safe route and learn on something less sporty. I'm loving it so far and looking forward to improving my skills and learning more about motorcycles in general. Any advice is always welcome and I'd love to get together for group rides whenever. I'm living in the Boston area at the moment and up and down the North and South shore mainly. Looking to venture further soon though.

    Great bike, congrats!

Come to Salisbury and we'll do some rides.

If you're motivated - head up to the track this weekend to watch some great motorcycle racing.

Anytime anyone on this forum says anything about track, just replace that word with crack.

Crack is about 1/10th as addictive as track.

    Welcome new guy. You're doomed.

Welcome from the South Shore! Not a ton of great riding to be had within striking distance of the city, but if you're up for day rides there's some good stuff to be found.

This. Load that Bonnie up with a tent, sleeping bag and a cooler full of beer and see the other side. Plus there's tons of nice roads up that way.
